スニーガの父、ネイマールの一件による脅迫に「心配」

コロンビア代表DFフアン・スニーガの父親が、ブラジル・ワールドカップでブラジル代表FWネイマールを負傷させてしまった件で、息子を心配していると語った。

スニーガはW杯準々決勝でネイマールに後方からファウルし、負傷させてしまった。ネイマールは腰椎骨折という重傷を負い、W杯準決勝以降の2試合を欠場することに。ブラジル代表は準決勝でドイツ代表に大敗し、3位決定戦でもオランダ代表に敗れた。

ネイマールの負傷が発覚して以降、脅迫メッセージを受け取っていたスニーガ。父親はブラジル『ランセ』のインタビューで、スニーガ一家が難しい状況にあると説明している。

「我々はインターネットや電話を通じて本当にひどい脅迫を受けた。すでに当局には連絡してある。親として心配なのは当然だ。本当にクレイジーな、ひどい脅迫だよ。私は息子だけじゃなく、彼の娘や奥さんのことも心配している」

「我々が安全に外を歩けるのは、ボディーガードがいるからだ。だが、それも一時的なものだろう。すぐにまた穏やかな生活を始められるはずだと思っている」

スニーガの父親は、選手がすでに謝罪し、ネイマールが受け入れたことを強調している。

「ネイマールは息子のことを許した。息子のせいではなかったんだ。彼はまったく暴力的ではなかった。彼のことを責める者は、サッカーを分かっていない。ネイマールがW杯で離脱したことは、遺憾に思う。だが、彼には輝かしい未来がある」

「ネイマールに起きたことは、最も優れた選手たちにも起きることだ。ケガはサッカーにつきものだよ。私の息子はすでに謝罪し、説明しているはずだ。サッカーの試合でこういうことになって、本当に心配だよ」
