早過ぎたリーグ打ち切り…セスクにはやや不満も

新型コロナウイルスの影響で10試合を残して打ち切りが決まったリーグ・アンだが、モナコの元スペイン代表MFセスク・ファブレガスには未練があるようだ。フランス『レキップ』が伝えている。

リーグ・アンは、先月28日にフランスのエドゥアール・フィリップ首相がウイルス感染拡大防止の観点からスポーツを含む大規模イベントに関して9月1日までの開催中止を発表したことで、無念にも打ち切りが決定。暫定首位だったパリ・サンジェルマンの優勝で幕を閉じることになったが、欧州カップの出場権を巡って不満も噴出しているようだ。

セスクは『beIN Sports』のインタビューで打ち切りは早過ぎた決断だったと主張。理解を示しながらも、ブンデスリーガや他のリーグのように辛抱強く待つことも出来たはずだったと話している。

「大きな決断だったね。理由も理解できる。だけど少し早過ぎたんじゃないかとも思うよ」

「他のリーグはまだ再開に向けて尽力している。周りのすべての人たち、特に家族の健康が最も重要なのはわかりきったことだ。でも、ソーシャルディスタンスを守り、リスクを避ければ徐々にトレーニングを再開出来たはずだ」

「リーグを打ち切りにするかどうかはそれから決めても良かったんじゃないかな」

「公私両面で難しい時期だけど、今は我慢の時だね!」

なお、リーグ・アン打ち切りでモナコは9位に終わっている。

レアル・マドリー新星がコモ移籍! ニコ・パスが4年契約でセスク監督のもとへ

4戦3ゴール3アシスト、絶好調・南野拓実がインスピレーションを得た選手は? 試合前にも聴く好きな楽曲も明かす「良い気分になる」
