復活を期すファン・ダイクが軽めのリハビリを開始

リバプールのオランダ代表DFヴィルヒル・ファン・ダイクが復活に向け、新たな一歩を踏み出したようだ。

ファン・ダイクは10月17日に敵地で行われたプレミアリーグ第5節のエバートン戦で右ヒザを負傷して、その後の検査で前十字じん帯の損傷を確認。ロンドンで修復手術を受け、無事に成功したが、全治について明らかにされておらず、各メディアからも今季中の復帰を絶望視する指摘が大半を占める。

ただ、イギリス『デイリー・メール』によると、ファン・ダイクは今季中の復帰を目指して、18日にヒザの専門医とリカバリープランを立て、低負荷のトレーニングを開始。リカバリートレーニングの第二段階に向け、身体を動かし始めたという。

全体的に故障者が相次ぐリバプールは現在、守備陣だけでもファン・ダイクのほか、DFトレント・アレクサンダー=アーノルドやDFジョー・ゴメスだけでなく、センターバックとしてもプレー可能なMFファビーニョも負傷。さらに、DFアンドリュー・ロバートソンも代表先でケガを負った疑いがある。

そうしたチーム状況のなかで、復活に向けた一歩を踏み出したファン・ダイク。これが当初の復帰見込みを早めるものになるか定かでないというが、苦しい台所事情に陥るリバプールとしては1日でも早い復帰が望まれるところだ。
