エバートンのブラジル代表FWリシャルリソンがイギリスでの生活に苦労していることを認めている。イギリス『デイリー・メール』が伝えている。
2017年夏に母国フルミネンセからワトフォードに移籍し、翌年エバートンにステップアップしたリシャルリソン。今季はプレミア35試合で13ゴールという上々の成績を収めたが、初めてイギリスに来た頃は苦労したと語っている。
「イングランドでの1年目はとても難しかった。ここの天候になかなか慣れることはできなかったし、ピッチでは足は震え耳は赤く燃えていたんだ」
「食事の文化はイギリスとはかなり違ってて、僕はあまり好んでここの料理は食べないんだ。ワトフォードで初めて食べた食事が口に合わなくて5ポンド溝に捨ててしまったよ」
だが、そんなリシャルリソンがイギリスで満足していることもある。
楽しそうで何よりである。

“狂犬”グラベセン、現役時代のレアル移籍を回想 最初は「アトレティコの方だと…」
元デンマーク代表のトーマス・グラベセン氏が、現役時代にレアル・マドリーへ移籍した時のエピソードを明かした。 現役時代にエバートンやレアル・マドリーなどでプレーしたグラベセン氏。優れたテクニックを持つ反面、激しいプレースタイルから「狂犬」の愛称で親しまれた。2005年1月に加入したマドリーでは、2006年8月にセルティックへ移籍するまでの約1年間半で、公式戦49試合1ゴールを記録。デンマーク代表としても2002年の日韓・ワールドカップ(W杯)に出場するなど、66試合5ゴールの成績を残した。 そんなグラベセン氏がイギリス『Four Four Two』でのインタビューで、2005年1月にエバートンからレアル・マドリーに移籍した当時を回想。マドリーからの関心をエージェントから伝えられた際、アトレティコ・マドリーからのモノだと思っていたようだ。 「エージェントが電話をかけてきた時、私は兄弟と映画館にいたんだ」 「だから兄弟に『電話に出なくてはならない』と言って外に出た。そしたら私のエージェントが『マドリーについてどう思う?』って聞いてきたんだ」 「私はてっきりアトレティコ・マドリーだと思っていてね。『いやエバートンが好きだよ』って返した。そしたら彼が『レアル・マドリーだぞ?』って言ったんだ」 「『レアル・マドリー!? オーケー…、彼らはなんて言ってるんだ?
