マンチェスター・ユナイテッドが新たなテクニカルディレクター(TD)を招へいした。 ユナイテッドは19日、ジェイソン・ウィルコックス氏(52)のTD就任を発表。今後、ウィルコックス氏はフットボール部門の技術分野に携わっていくという。同氏は昨夏からサウサンプトンのフットボールディレクターとして活躍。かつてはマンチェスター・シティでアカデミーディレクターなどを歴任した。 ユナイテッドでは共同オーナーに就任したジム・ラトクリフ氏のもと、組織改革の動きがあり、シティを束ねるシティ・フットボール・グループ(CFG)から最高執行責任者(COO)のオマル・ベラダ氏を新たな最高経営責任者(CEO)として引き抜きに成功済み。ウィルコックス氏はそれに続く入閣となった。 昨夏にウィルコックス氏を招へいしたばかりのサウサンプトン側もユナイテッド側と不本意ながらの合意を明らかに。納得のいく補償金を受け取るという。移籍市場に精通するイタリア人記者のファブリツィオ・ロマーノ氏によると、即時のユナイテッド行きとなり、夏の移籍市場にも関わっていく模様だ。 なお、ユナイテッドは新スポーツディレクター(SD)として、ニューカッスル・ユナイテッドからダン・アシュワース氏の招へいにも乗り出しており、ロマーノ氏いわく、こちらも話し合いが続いているそうだ。 2024.04.20 11:20 Sat

“ジャンピングチョップ事件”いまだ和解なし、ファン・ニステルローイが宿敵との騒動を振り返る
