アメリカ、ナショナル・ウィメンズ・サッカーリーグ(NWSL)のエンジェル・シティFCは、なでしこジャパンのMF遠藤純と1年間の契約延長を行ったと発表した。
遠藤はJFAアカデミー福島の出身で、特別指定選手を経て2019年に日テレ・ベレーザ(現:日テレ・東京ヴェルディベレーザ)へ加入。エンジェル・シティでプレーがNWSLに新規参入した2022年、同クラブへ完全移籍で加わり、初の海外挑戦に臨んだ。
2シーズンで公式戦47試合に出場し、4得点6アシストを記録。今季はクラブ史上初のプレーオフ進出にも貢献した。
世代別の日本女子代表では2016年のU-17女子ワールドカップ(W杯)で準優勝、2018年には高校生ながら飛び級で招集され、U-20女子W杯で優勝を経験している。
なでしこジャパンの一員としても2019年のフランス女子W杯に続き、東京オリンピックや今夏のオーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子W杯にも出場。左の翼、もしくは超攻撃的な左サイドバックとして地位を固めつつある。

GKスタンボー華が遠藤純の同僚に NWSLエンジェル・シティに移籍
アメリカのナショナル・ウィメンズ・サッカーリーグ(NWSL)を戦うエンジェル・シティFCは24日、大宮アルディージャVENTUSからGKスタンボー華(25)の獲得を発表した。契約は1年延長オプション付きの2024年までで、移籍金は1万ドル(約140万円)になるという。 新天地を通じて「エンジェル・シティでプレーできるのを心から誇りに思います。私の第二の故郷であるアメリカでプレーできるのは大きな意味があります。このチームのためにできることを精一杯やるつもりです」とコメントした。 東京都生まれのスタンボーはJFAアカデミー福島、INAC神戸レオネッサを経て、2021-22シーズンから大宮Vに加入。かつてなでしこジャパンにも選ばれた実力者だが、大宮Vでは出番が限られ、2シーズン半でWEリーグ6試合、WEリーグカップ3試合、皇后杯3試合の出場だった。 エンジェル・シティFCでは遠藤純が所属しており、チームメイトとなる。 2024.01.25 13:35 Thu

なでしこ植木理子がウェストハムへ背番号「9」で電撃加入!「欧州で自分を試す必要があると感じた」

発展途上の東京NB、松田監督はC大阪戦のドローを受け「後半の戦い方を最初からできれば…」
「後半の戦い方を最初からできれば、違った結果になっていただろうと思います」 日テレ・東京ヴェルディベレーザの松田岳夫監督が、セレッソ大阪ヤンマーレディース戦後の会見で開口一番、言葉にした。 東京NBは16日に行われた2023-24 WEリーグ第10節、味の素フィールド西が丘でのC大阪戦を1-1の引き分けで終えた。 前節、アルビレックス新潟レディースとの上位対決を落とした4位・東京NBにとっては3ポイントを欲する一戦だったが、C大阪も前節の大敗を払拭すべく、強い気持ちでゲームの入ったことで、東京NBは特に序盤、相手のハイプレスにビルドアップが引っ掛かる場面が散見。21分には先制を許した。 一方で後半は主導権を握り、シュート数でも圧倒。61分には山本柚月が同点ゴールをマークし、以降も攻勢が続いたが、C大阪粘りの守備から逆転弾を奪うまでには至らなかった。 松田監督は「後半の戦い方を最初からできれば、違った結果になっていただろうと思います。多くの方が応援してくれている中で成果を出せなかったことは非常に残念ですし、次回はその点を踏まえ、開始から100%の力を発揮できるよう、考えていきたいと思います」と、後半の戦い方を評価する一方、前半のノッキングを悔いた。 今節は、岩清水梓が今季リーグ戦初先発を飾り、なでしこジャパンのGK田中桃子もリーグ戦では実に7試合ぶりのスタメン復帰。「2人とも十分に経験のある選手ですし、しばらくゲームからは遠ざかっていましたけれども、信頼して起用することができました」と指揮官は述べたが、3バックの中央に入った岩清水は前半のみのプレーで、池上聖七と交代に。 「彼女のプレーがどうこうというよりは、起用によって特に左サイドに不具合が生じた」という左に池上を、左で先発の坂部幸菜を右に、右の村松智子を中央へスライドし、これまでの2試合と同じ並びに戻すと、池上の攻撃参加を中心に左サイドが活性化。同点ゴールも池上のクロスから生まれた。 後半にスイッチが入ったことを評価しながらも、「逆に言えば、経験のある2人が前半からスイッチを入れて欲しかった。チームが苦しい時に経験のある選手が引っ張ることで、もっとチームが成長していけるのかなと思いました」と、岩清水や田中への要求も口にしている。 今季は若手が多く、なおかつウインターブレイク明けに新たなシステム[3-5-2]を取り入れたばかりだ。一方で現在のなでしこジャパンにも東京NB出身選手が多数招集されるなど、育成を含めて女子サッカー界を牽引する東京NB。周囲の期待は当然大きく、成長と同時に結果も求められる、名門のゆえの苦悩ではある。 「判断や技術ではなく、相手の背後に侵入するハードワークであったり、力強さの部分では、前半はうまく引き出せなかった。後半はそれが表現できたおかげでああいうゲームになったことを考えると、頭の中でフィジカルとテクニックがうまく使い分けられない状況になっているのかなと思います」 次節はWEリーグでは珍しく、ミッドウイークに試合が組み込まれている。中3日での連戦となるが、「個人的にすごくいいことだと思っています。週1回のゲームで、限られた選手で戦えてしまうよりは、全体の底上げをするという意味では、すごくいいレギュレーションなのかなと思います」と、松田監督は前向きに捉えている。 東京NBは20日の第11節で大宮アルディージャVENTUSとアウェイで対戦。準備期間は短いが、今節の反省を踏まえての勝ち点3が求められる。 2024.03.16 21:35 Sat
