セルティックが古橋亨梧とのコンビ光ったFWジョタをベンフィカから完全移籍で獲得、5年契約締結

セルティックは1日、ベンフィカからポルトガル人FWジョタ(23)が完全移籍で加入することを発表した。

契約は2027年夏までの5年契約となる。イギリス『スカイ・スポーツ』によれば630万ポンド(約10億3000万円)の買取オプションを行使したようだ。

ベンフィカの下部組織で育ったジョタはレアル・バジャドリーでのレンタル移籍を経験。2021年8月にセルティックへとレンタル移籍で加入した。

買い取りオプションが付いていた中、ジョタはアンジェ・ポステコグルー監督の下で躍動。左ウイングを主戦場に、同じくチームに加入した日本代表FW古橋亨梧と素晴らしいコンビを形成し、ゴールやアシストでシーズン序盤から結果を残した。

冬に日本代表FW前田大然の加入もあり、右ウイングを務める機会も触れたが、通算で公式戦40試合に出場し13ゴール14アシストを記録し、スコティッシュ・プレミアシップ優勝に貢献していた。

今シーズン以降もセルティックでプレーを続けられることとなったジョタはクラブを通じてコメントしている。

「セルティックに加入できて本当に嬉しい。ファンやチームに喜びを与え、できるだけ多くのことを成し遂げたいと思っている」
