「美しい」「たまらない」ウルグアイ代表が記念ユニフォームを発表!五輪初優勝から100周年「サプライヤーなしの方がいいじゃないか」

ウルグアイサッカー連盟(AUF)は17日、1924年のパリ・オリンピック(五輪)での金メダル獲得から100周年を記念したユニフォームを発表している。

ワールドカップ(W杯)において、1930年の第1回大会を含む2度の優勝回数を誇るウルグアイ。五輪でも2度の優勝経験があり、初めて優勝したのが1924年のパリ五輪だった。初優勝から100年を記念したユニフォームは、当時を彷彿させる襟付きのクラシカルなデザインに。サプライヤーもなくウルグアイ代表のエンブレムのみが左胸にあしらわれている。

ユニフォームについては、水色ベースと白ベースのフィールドプレイヤーに加え、緑とオレンジがベースになったGK2種の計4種類が展開されており、そのデザインはどれも共通になっている。

ファンは、このユニフォームについて「美しい」、「たまらない」、「サプライヤーなしの方がいいじゃないか」、「素晴らしい」とコメントしている。

なお、この記念ユニフォームは、20日に開幕するCONMEBOLプレオリンピック大会で、パリ五輪の出場権獲得を目指すマルセロ・ビエルサ監督率いるU-23ウルグアイ代表が着用する。
