そんなバロテッリはシティ時代の2011年12月4日に行われたプレミアリーグ第14節のノリッジ戦で“らしい”ゴールを決めている。
3-1とシティ2点リードで迎えた88分、MFヤヤ・トゥーレがボックス内に浮き球のパスを送ると、これをMFアダム・ジョンソンが収める。そして、ボックス中央に走りこんでいたバロテッリがパスを受け、ダイレクトでシュートを放つ。これは相手GKジョン・ラディに防がれるも、浮いたボールは再びバロテッリのもとへ。押し込むだけでよかったバロテッリは、敢えて肩でボールを押し込み、ゴールを決めた。

バロテッリがイブラヒモビッチとの逸話を明かす「インテルでプレーするには下手すぎると言われたけど…」

人種差別擁護発言のボヌッチにスターリング&バロテッリが不快感示す
