W杯のおかげでマウントが家族と3年ぶりに再会! 3歳の姪っ子とはじめまして

イングランド代表のMFメイソン・マウントが、今回のカタール・ワールドカップを通じて家族と久々の再会を果たしていたようだ。イギリス『デイリー・メール』が伝えている。

21日に行われた初戦のイラン戦で6-2のド派手な勝利を収めたイングランド代表。マウントも先発出場したその一戦を観戦していた一人が、姉のステイシーさんだった。

ステイシーさんは現在オーストラリアに住んでいるが、オーストラリアは新型コロナウイルス感染対策において世界で最も厳しい制限を設けており、メイソンもサッカー漬けの日々で忙しく、なかなか会うことができなかったそう。

だが、4年に一度の祭典を利用して、2人はカタールの地で3年ぶりに再会。ステイシーさんには3歳になる娘のポピーちゃんがおり、メイソンにとってはその姪っ子とも嬉しいはじめましてとなった。

ステイシーさんはインスタグラムで弟との再会を綴っており、輝かしい活躍を見せる姿に姉として誇り高いと喜びを表している。

北中米W杯の欧州予選組み合わせ決定! 12カ国+POの4カ国が出場権獲得、来年3月からスタート【2026年北中米W杯欧州予選】
