リバプールの日本代表MF遠藤航が私服でもファンを魅了している。

今シーズン加入したリバプールで評価を高めている遠藤。序盤戦ではプレミアリーグへの適応に苦しむ時期もあったが、今ではリバプールで欠かせぬ存在となり、中盤でポジションを確立している。

アンカーの位置に入って相手の攻撃の芽を摘み、チームに安定感をもたらしている遠藤だが、そのプレーだけでなく私服でもファンに安心感を与えているのかもしれない。

リバプールは5日、クラブの公式SNSを更新。選手たちがトレーニング施設に向かう時の私服姿を投稿した。

遠藤は、グレーのトップスに紺のアウターを羽織り、下はジーンズ、足元にはキレイめのスニーカーというシンプルめのコーディネートで登場した。

その姿は、リバプールの関連メディアなどでも取り上げられているが、jordyさんというリバプールファンの人物が遠藤のコーディネートを解説。その内容が話題になっている。

「最近のサッカー選手はカニエ・ウエストのような格好でトレーニングに来るが、ワタルは日曜日の午後、奥さんと一緒にIKEAに行くような格好をしている。プーマのスニーカーを履き、無地のシンプルだ。彼に神のご加護がありますように」

どうやら、ハリウッドスターのように派手ないでたちで現れる選手も多い中、いつもシンプルなコーディネートで現れる遠藤の私服が気に入っているようだ。この投稿には、8,000以上ものイイネがついている。

あくまで私服はどんな服を着ようと選手の自由ではあるが、遠藤のプレーだけでなく私服にも熱い視線を注ぐファンは多いようだ。
