かつて西ドイツ代表やバイエルンの伝説的なストライカーとして数多くのゴールを決めてきたゲルト・ミュラー氏が、15日の早朝に他界した。75歳だった。ミュラー氏は、1963年にTSVネルトリンゲンでプロデビューし、翌1964年にバイエルンへと加入する。
バイエルンでは、15年間の在籍の中で、リーグでは7度の得点王に輝くなど、公式戦607試合に出場し566ゴールを記録。ブンデスリーガでは通算365ゴールを奪い、歴代最多ゴール記録を保持している。
また、2020-21シーズンにバイエルンのポーランド代表FWロベルト・レヴァンドフスキに抜かれたが、1971-1972シーズンにはブンデスリーガで40ゴールを記録し、50年近くもその記録を誇っていた。
“デル・ボンバー(爆撃機)”というニックネームで愛されたストライカーは西ドイツ代表としても62試合で68ゴールを記録。ワールドカップで1974年に1度、ユーロでは1972年に1度優勝を経験していた。

「これはどっちも買う」「素敵すぎ」ドイツ代表のW杯ユニが大好評!ホームは1908年をモチーフに

「クオリティは落ちてないが疑問も」クローゼ氏がドイツ代表に喝、ムシアラ&ヴィルツは絶賛「2人はすぐ…」
