アーセナルのなでしこジャパンFW岩渕真奈が、感謝の気持ちとエールを送った。岩渕はインドで開催されるAFC女子アジアカップに出場するため、なでしこジャパンに選出された。
イギリスから直接インドへと入国したが、入国時の検査で新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)の陽性判定を受け隔離措置を受けることに。最短でも24日まではチームに合流することができない。
JFA(日本サッカー協会)は岩渕の回復を待つ方針を示した中、本人は自身のインスタグラムで今回の件について言及。励ましのメッセージに感謝しながら、チームメイトを信じて応援するとし、女子W杯出場権を懸けた戦いへの応援を呼びかけた。

BE:FIRSTがアンバサダー就任の「FILA」、かつては中田英寿氏も同ブランドのスパイクを着用

「まさに死闘ってカンジ」歴史に残るバーレーンとの4-3の激闘!2004年大会プレイバックに反響「このゴールで中澤佑二に惚れた」

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン
