アーセナルは26日、なでしこジャパンのFW岩渕真奈(28)の加入を発表した。岩渕は日テレ・メニーナから2007年に日テレ・ベレーザに昇格。2013年にドイツのホッフェンハイムへと移籍すると、2014年からはバイエルンでプレー。2017年7月からINAC神戸レオネッサに加入。2020年12月にアストン・ビラへと移籍していた。
アストン・ビラでは、2020-21シーズンのFA女子スーパーリーグで13試合に出場。11試合に先発し2ゴール1アシストを記録。しかし、18日に退団が発表されていた。
岩渕は「私がアーセナルの選手であることを発表できてとても嬉しいです」とコメント。「クラブが長い間、サインしたいと思ってくれていて、アーセナルでプレーできることをとても光栄に思います。素晴らしい選手がたくさんいて、スタートが待ちきれません」とクラブを通じてコメントしている。

ソックスは「赤」、日本代表のアウェイユニフォームが発表!南野拓実「美しい日本のイメージが表現」
