【日本代表コラム】痛感させられた差、ブラジルが見せた日本に必要なもの
▽結果を見れば1-3と敗戦。内容を見ても、レベルの差を痛感させられた一戦となったブラジル代表戦。しかし、日本代表にとって意味のない試合だったかと言われれば、それは大きな間違いだ。 <span style="font-weight:700;">◆流れを断ったVARだが…</span><div style="text-align:center;"><img src="http://image.ultra-soccer.jp/800/image/get20171111japan_tw2.jpg" style="max-width: 100%;"></div><div style="text-align:right;font-size:x-small;">Getty Images<hr></div>▽日本は前半に流れを寸断されるVAR(ビデオアシスタントレフェリー)の判定により、PKが与えられ、ネイマールに先制ゴールを許した。レッドカードに相当するシーンや、得点に直接関与するシーンの判定で用いられることが通例だったが、時間をおいてのビデオ判定。そして、吉田麻也にはイエローカードが提示され、PKもブラジルに与えられた。出鼻をくじかれた感は否めない。 ▽しかし、VARは今後さらに導入され、こういった場面は増えてくるだろう。時には、理不尽な使われ方が起きる可能性もある。しかし、それでも対応していかなくてはいけない。日本代表の選手の心情に“揺らぎ”が生まれ、浮き足立ってしまったのは残念だった。 ▽それは守備面で特に見られた。この試合は、立ち上がりから相手陣内も含めて日本はプレスの強度を高めた。しかし、ブラジルの選手はそのプレスを回避。レベル差を感じさせられる場面は多かったが、日本がプレス強度をより強めれば、ファウルとなった。その結果、2度目のPKを献上。これはGK川島永嗣が見事に防いだが、その流れのCKから最後はマルセロに強烈なミドルシュートを叩き込まれ、あっという間にリードを2点に広げられた。浮き足立つことの恐ろしさを、選手たちは体感したはずだ。しかし、ここで体感できたことはプラスだと考えられる。 <span style="font-weight:700;">◆バランス、チームとしての規律</span><div style="text-align:center;"><img src="http://image.ultra-soccer.jp/800/image/get20171111japan_tw3.jpg" style="max-width: 100%;"></div><div style="text-align:right;font-size:x-small;">Getty Images<hr></div>▽日本が苦しめられた点を他にも挙げるなら、前線の強力なパワーもあるが、最も差を感じたのはバランス感覚だ。フェルナンジーニョ、カゼミロ、ジュリアーノの3枚で構成されたブラジルの中盤、マルセロ、ダニーロの両サイドバックは特にだ。攻守におけるブラジルのバランス感覚、そして規律を持ったプレーは、日本を苦しめた。 ▽カゼミロがアンカーのポジションでバイタルエリアを封鎖すれば、フェルナンジーニョとジュリアーノは機を見て前線の3枚と絡み、日本のボックス内にまで侵入した。両サイドバックも左のマルセロが攻撃に比重を置く中、ダニーロは守備を重点に。前線の3枚も流動的に動き、日本を翻弄した。 ▽ブラジルは個人技に優れている部分が目立ち、実際にペースを落とした後半は日本が主導権を握る場面も多く見られるようになった。しかし、チッチ監督によりチームが規律を持ち、ブラジルらしからぬ守り方も前半は見せていた。個に頼る部分が随所に残されているものの、規律まで身につけられてしまっては歯が立たなくなってしまう。 <span style="font-weight:700;">◆お手本のようなサッカー</span><div style="text-align:center;"><img src="http://image.ultra-soccer.jp/800/image/get20171111japan_tw4.jpg" style="max-width: 100%;"></div><div style="text-align:right;font-size:x-small;">Getty Images<hr></div>▽もう1つ挙げるとすれば、ブラジルが日本のやりたいことを体現している場面が多く見られたことだ。プレス回避の仕方、中盤のバランスの取り方、そして後方からの追い越し…攻守の切り替え、そして縦に早いサッカーが見られた。 ▽長谷部誠、山口蛍、井手口陽介とボールを奪え、攻撃に転じられる3枚で中盤を構成した。しかし、ブラジルは井手口、山口のプレスを上手くいなし、それによりできたスペースを使った。その後の攻撃は、後方の選手が前線を追い越し、数的有利を作って日本ゴールを脅かした。日本も本来であれば、中盤の高い位置でボールを奪い、後方から追い越す縦に早い攻撃を仕掛けたいはず。しかし、ブラジルに見事にやられてしまった。 ▽特に3点目のガブリエウ・ジェズスのゴールが良い例だろう。左サイドから中央にパス。そのまま右サイドに展開されると、ダイレクトのクロスをファーサイドに走りこんだガブリエウ・ジェズスに決められた。日本も似たようなシーンを作ることは多いが、枚数の不足や展開の遅さ、クロス精度の低さなど基礎能力の面での差も大きい。フィニッシュの部分は、やはり精度を上げなくてはいけない。 ▽前半は攻守の切り替えを早くすれば精度が落ち、精度を上げれようとスピードを落とせばすぐに対処されるというシーンが続いた。両方を一度に上げることは簡単ではないが、ハリルホジッチ監督が当初から掲げていたスタイルは、世界で戦う上では必要だということをまざまざと見せつけられていた。 <span style="font-weight:700;">◆後半には収穫も</span><div style="text-align:center;"><img src="http://image.ultra-soccer.jp/800/image/get20171111japan_tw5.jpg" style="max-width: 100%;"></div><div style="text-align:right;font-size:x-small;">Getty Images<hr></div>▽前半は苦戦した日本だったが、後半は手応えを感じられるシーンが増えた。ブラジルが3点リードしたことでパフォーマンスが落ちたことは大いにあるが、スペースを使い、サイドをずらし、危険なシーンを何度も作った。 ▽浅野拓磨が後半開始から起用されると、マルセロの裏のスペースを活用。右サイドから崩しにかかったが、ネイマールとの対峙に奔走していた酒井宏樹のサポートが少なかったこと、アタッキングサードでの精度が低かったことでゴールが生まれなかった。 ▽また、途中から起用された乾貴士、森岡亮太は違いを見せた。2人が入ることで中盤と前線の連動性がより高まり、ブラジルのバランスを崩すことができた。攻撃センスの高い両選手は結果こそ出せなかったものの、光るものは見せた。 ▽特に後半アディショナルタイムのワンプレーは見事。森岡が中盤でダイレクトスルーパスを送ると、高い位置を取っていた酒井宏樹に渡り、深い位置からの折り返しがフリーの浅野に。ゴールには繋がらなかったが、崩しという点ではこの試合で1番の出来だった。浅野に冷静さが加われば、後方に構えた乾がダイレクトで…というタラレバはあるが、ポジショニング、スピード、そしてイメージの共有があれば、ブラジル相手でも崩すことが可能であるという一面を見せられたことは大きい。 <span style="font-weight:700;">◆ベルギー戦でもチャレンジを</span><div style="text-align:center;"><img src="http://image.ultra-soccer.jp/800/image/get20171111japan_tw7.jpg" style="max-width: 100%;"></div><div style="text-align:right;font-size:x-small;">Getty Images<hr></div>▽日本がアジアとの対戦で見せるプレーとは異なっていた試合。ヴァイッド・ハリルホジッチ監督が求める“デュエル”の勝率こそ高くなかったが、チーム全体としてボールホルダーへのプレスの強度は悪くなかった。しかし、バランスが崩れたこと、そしてブラジルが何枚も上手だったことで、今回の結果に繋がったと思う。 ▽ワールドカップは格上の相手ばかり。日本が戦えないことはないが、戦い方を間違えれば大敗もあり得る。しかし、相手に対しての有効な策を見出すことができれば、十分に勝機はあるのも事実だ。それだけに、“デュエル”と“縦に早いサッカー”というハリルホジッチ監督が掲げるものは残りの8カ月で高めなくてはいけない。 ▽次の相手は格上であるベルギー。ホームでの開催であり、現チーム初となるブルージュでの試合となる。川島、森岡、久保裕也とベルギーとも関わりある選手が居る日本代表。これまでの対戦成績では勝ち越しているが、今のベルギーは別物だ。目標はワールドカップで勝ち上がること。そのためにも、ブラジル戦を生かし、現在地をしっかりと測る試合をしてもらいたい。 《超ワールドサッカー編集部・菅野剛史》 2017.11.11 12:57 Sat
