ユベントスの柱となることが期待されたキエーザ

ユベントスとイタリア代表FWフェデリコ・キエーザ(26)を結ぶ糸が切れかかっている。イタリア『カルチョメルカート』が伝えている。

黄金期のカルチョを彩った偉大な父を持つキエーザ。ユベントス加入4シーズン目を迎えた26歳は、2022年1月の大ケガこそ癒えたが、昨年12月以降、断続的にケガを繰り返し、開幕5試合で4得点を記録した序盤戦のような働きがない。

また、昨夏以降しきりに報じられるのが契約延長問題。現行が2025年6月までとなっているなか、年俸500万ユーロ(約8億円)からの昇給を求めるキエーザと、財政的余裕のないユベントス…財政はもとより、最近のキエーザのパフォーマンスが昇給に値するとは言い難い。

そんなこんなで延長交渉が完全停滞してはや半年。このままいけば、ユベントスにとって2024年夏が“キエーザを売る夏”となることは想像に難くない。自国代表の主力選手であり、まだまだ26歳と若く、手放すのは惜しいところだが、現実問題としてその選択肢を持っていることだろう。

なお、キエーザにはリバプールからの関心が伝えられるが、具体的な話は出ておらず、現状リストアップ止まりと考えられる。
