エバートンに所属するコロンビア代表DFジェリー・ミナが、コパ・アメリカ2021でのアルゼンチン代表FWリオネル・メッシとの関係について明かした。スペイン『マルカ』が伝えている。
6日行われたコパ・アメリカ2021準決勝、アルゼンチン代表vsコロンビア代表の一戦は、1-1で90分を終え、勝負はPK戦に突入。GKエミリアーノ・マルティネスが3本のPKをストップする大活躍で、アルゼンチンが2大会ぶりの決勝進出を決めていた。
ミナは3人目のキッカーを務めたものの、PKをストップされていたが、ハーフウェイラインに戻っていく最中、元チームメイトのメッシから「今すぐ踊れ!踊れよ、さぁ!」と物凄い剣幕で煽られていた。
その理由の1つとして、コロンビアが準々決勝でメッシの友人、FWルイス・スアレスを有するウルグアイ代表と対戦した際、PK戦の最中にミナらはダンスを披露。これがメッシの逆鱗に触れたものと考えられている。
普段は比較的冷静なメッシがこのように感情をあらわにすることは珍しいが、ミナがこの件について言及。サッカーの一部だと理解を示した。
「レオとの間に起こったことはいつでも起こり得ることであり、サッカーの一部だ。人生には転機があり、あの時のリベンジを果たす機会が訪れるだろう。でも僕は、彼が素晴らしい人間だと知っているから落ち着いているよ」
「彼とはバルセロナで出会い、その時の彼のサポートには感謝している。僕は彼を常にリスペクトしている。ただ、あの時は2人とも国を代表して戦っていたんだ。代表チームには命を懸けているし、ピッチで起こったことはそこに置いておくべきだ、だからこれ以上は何もないよ」
なお、試合後にはメッシがインスタグラムでミナのフォローを外したことも明らかになっており、想像以上に激怒していることがうかがえる。

カタールのアル・ラーヤンに所属するコロンビア代表MFハメス・ロドリゲスが娘のサロメちゃんと再会したことを自身のインスタグラムで報告。お父さんの顔に似てきたと話題を呼んでいる。
9月にアル・ラーヤンへ加入したハメスは、ここまで公式戦4試合に出場して1ゴール1アシスト。新天地で出場機会を得ると、11月のカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)南米予選に臨む代表メンバーにおよそ1年ぶりに招集され、ブラジル代表戦とパラグアイ代表戦の2試合に出場した。
コロンビアに帰国したハメスは、この期間を利用して娘のサロメちゃんとも会っていたようで、「会えて嬉しい」というコメントとともに2人で笑顔で並ぶ写真をインスタグラムに投稿している。
2人の表情はさすが親子と言わんばかりに似ており、笑った時の目元や口元がそっくりで、まるで兄弟のようだ。ファンからも「そっくりじゃん」「お父さん似!」「かわいらしい!」「娘ちゃん大きくなった」という声が集まっている。
ハメスは、コロンビア代表GKダビド・オスピナの妹であるダニエラさんと2010年に結婚。サロメちゃんが2013年に生まれたものの、2017年に離婚しており、今は単身カタールで過ごしている。

コロンビアサッカー連盟(FCF)は23日、新しいホームユニフォームのデザインを発表した。
2019年からのユニフォームは、織物に触発されたデザインで、シャツの前面の伝統的な黄色と青の横糸で強調されたものだったが、今回はかなり基本に立ち返ったものとなった。
シャツは黄色一色で、襟と袖口はコロンビアの国旗に合わせて青と赤の縁取りが施されているほか、背面の首元にコロンビアの地図が国旗の3色で描かれている。また、ショーツに関しては、青地で両サイドに黄色の三本線が入っている。ソックスに関しては、赤地にこちらも黄色の三本線だ。
FCFはエバートンのMFハメス・ロドリゲスやDFジェリー・ミナ、レバークーゼンのDFサンティアゴ・アリアスらが着用したイメージを公開。かなりシンプルなデザインだったが、サポーターからは「黄色いパジャマ」「気に食わない」といった反発の声もあった。
コロンビア代表は、6月にアルゼンチンとの共同開催で行われるコパ・アメリカ2021でこの新ユニフォームを着用する予定だ。

コロンビアサッカー連盟(FCF)とアディダスは14日、新ユニフォームを発表した。
2022年のカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)出場を逃していたコロンビア。一方で、コパ・アメリカ2021では3位という成績を残していた。現在行われている北中米W杯の南米予選では、3勝3分け無敗で3位につけている状況だ。
そのコロンビアの新ユニフォーム2種類が発表。ホームは無地の黄色をベースとしつつ、オレンジをアクセントに使用。シャツの両サイドや肩のスリーストライプスに用いられている。
一方のアウェイユニフォームは、黒がベースに。こちらもオレンジをアクセントに用いており、シャツの両サイドや肩のスリーストライプスだけでなく、チームのエンブレムやアディダスのロゴも全てオレンジで統一されている。
1990年代以前のユニフォームで使われたことがあったオレンジを久々に採用したということだが、これがファンに不評。FCFのSNSには「常にワーストを更新し続けている」、「一体何のつもり?」、「私たちの国は黄色、青、そして赤だ」、「ひどいもんだ」、「年々悪化している」、「手抜きじゃないか」、「トレーニングウェアに見える」、「なぜオレンジなんだ」といったコメントが多く寄せられている。
これらのユニフォームは、コパ・アメリカ2024、さらには女子チームが出場を決めているパリ・オリンピックでも選手たちが着用することとなる。
なお、コロンビアは3月の代表ウィークでスペイン代表とルーマニア代表との国際親善試合を控えている。

コロンビアサッカー連盟(FCF)は23日、コパ・アメリカ2024に向けたコロンビア代表候補メンバー28名を発表した。
ネストル・ロレンソ監督は、大会登録メンバー26名に対して2名多い28名を招集。ベテランのMFハメス・ロドリゲス(サンパウロ)、GKダビド・オスピナ(アル・ナスル)、MFフアン・フェルナンド・キンテロ(ラシン・クラブ)らを招集した。
また、FWルイス・ディアス(リバプール)やMFジェフェルソン・レルマ(クリスタル・パレス)、DFダビンソン・サンチェス(ガラタサライ)なども招集している。
コパ・アメリカ開幕前の6月8日にアメリカ代表と、同15日にボリビア代表と対戦。5月27日から6月5日まではコロンビアのバランキージャでキャンプを行い、13日にワシントンへと移動する。その後2試合を戦い、20日にヒューストン入りコパ・アメリカ初戦に臨む。
コロンビアは、コパ・アメリカ2024ではグループDに入っており、ブラジル代表、パラグアイ代表、コスタリカ代表と同居している。
