データおよびテクノロジーにおけるリーディングカンパニーの「ニールセン・グレースノート」が、オーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)に出場する選手のインフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表した。
なでしこジャパンも出場する女子W杯。開幕までおよそ1カ月となった中で、各国の出場選手も決定している。
「ニールセン・グレースノート」は出場する選手の中での、インフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表。フォロワーやフォロワーの増加、エンゲージメント率など、インスタグラム上の投稿ごとの平均ブランド価値を評価してランキングを発表した。
トップ10が発表され、実に9カ国の選手がランクイン。アメリカ女子代表のみが唯一2選手がランクインしている。
1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。
アストン・ビラでは2シーズンでFA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)で43試合に出場し7ゴール。スイス代表としても38キャップを記録している。
2位には、バルセロナのエースでありスペイン女子代表のエースでもあるMFアレクシア・プテジャス。フォロワーは280万人であり、1位のレーマンがどれほどのフォロワーを抱えているかがわかる。
2シーズン連続でUEFA年間最優秀女子選手、バロンドールを受賞。2021年にはFIFA最優秀女子選手賞を受賞している。
2022年にはスペイン女子初となる代表100キャップに到達。その後、前十字じん帯を損傷し女子ユーロは欠場していた。
3位は、サンディエゴ・ウェーブスに所属するアメリカ女子代表FWアレックス・モーガン。フォロワーは1000万人だが、増加率やエンゲージメント率が低く、価値は3位となった。
言わずと知れたアメリカのエースで、過去2度のW杯優勝を経験。2012年のロンドン・オリンピックでは金メダルを獲得している。アメリカ女子代表として200キャップ以上を記録し、120ゴール以上を決めている。

プレーヤーとしての注目はもちろんのこと、インフルエンサーとしても注目を集める選手が多い女子W杯。残念ながらなでしこジャパンの選手はトップ10に入らなかったが、注目したいところだ。

23日、日本代表のカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)初戦、ドイツ代表戦が行われる。
7大会連続7度目のW杯に臨む日本代表。ドイツ、そしてスペイン代表とヨーロッパの強豪であり、W杯王者でもある両国とグループステージで同居したこともあり、"新しい景色"と謳ったベスト8以上の結果を残すことは難しいと見られている。
全くもって楽観視できない相手ではあるが、何もできないレベル差がある相手でもない。多くの人が知っているだろう、サウジアラビア代表も勝てないとほとんどの人が思っていたアルゼンチン代表を撃破し、大きな驚きを与えた。その理由は、ミッションを遂行したこと。ゲームプランを遂行し、そして少ない決定機をしっかりと生かしたからこその勝利だったと言える。
初戦はどの国にとっても難しいと言われるが、それは日本はもちろん、ドイツの方が難しさを感じるはず。勝って当たり前と思われるほどプレッシャーはない。

多くの負傷者、コンディション不良者を抱えていた日本。W杯前最後のカナダ代表戦でも最後にPKを与えて敗れるなど、良いニュースは多くない。ただ、全ては本番までの準備。あのPKも本番で起こらなくてよかった、本番でも同じようなシーンがあるかもしれないという想定にはなっただろう。
そして合流できていなかった選手たちも、カナダ戦を回避してコンディションを整えた。どこまでパフォーマンスが戻っているかは不明だが、少なくともプレーはできる準備は整ったと言える。
その中でチームとしてドイツ戦でやるべきことは、真骨頂でもある前からのプレス、連動したプレス、そして奪ってからの背後、そしてサイドのスペースを使ったカウンターだ。しっかりと日本の良さをドイツ相手に出せるかどうかが重要。そして、どんな相手でも自分たちが立てたプランを遂行できるかがカギだ。
日本のプレスは世界でも通用することは間違いない。そのためには、全選手が連動することが大事。そして、同じ絵を描き、プレスをかけ、奪ってからはゴールを目指す。その絵を共有できているのか。連係が重要となり、森保一監督が常に口にする"連係・連動"を今こそ見せなければいけない。
加えて、プレスだけで終わっては勝つことは不可能。そこからのチャンスをどれだけ決められるかだ。相手にはGKマヌエル・ノイアーがいる。日本が長年悩み続けている決定力という課題が露呈しては、ドイツに勝利することなどあり得ない。いかにプレスで奪ってからのチャンスを決め切れるか。ドイツも対応してくるだけに、その前に仕留められるかが勝利のカギとなる。

対するドイツは、直前のオマーン代表とのテストマッチで1-0で勝利。しかし、内容は散々で、かつて世界に知らしめた強さは微塵もなかった。ただ、あくまでもテストマッチ。本番にしっかりと合わせてくる可能性は十分にある。
ハンジ・フリック監督が作り上げたチームは、伝統的なバイエルンの選手主体のチーム。前述の通りGKにはノイアーが、中盤にはMFレオン・ゴレツカ、MFヨシュア・キミッヒ、MFトーマス・ミュラー、FWセルジュ・ニャブリ、MFジャマル・ミュージアラと各ポジションに選手が揃っている。
FWレロイ・サネはケガにより欠場することが明かされたが、その他にも実力を持つ選手は多数揃っている一方で、突出した個の能力を持つ選手もいない。チーム全体で戦うことをモットーに、日本と似たスタイルを持っている。
ドイツの特徴は強度の高いプレス。そしてそこからのショートカウンターだ。ゴールを仕留める能力は、残念ながら日本よりもはるかに上と言える。同じだけのプレス、同じだけのボール奪取があったとして、日本は最後の精度で上回られる可能性もある。ただ、日本の守備も対ドイツで準備はできているはず。しっかりと局面での勝負で負けない、負けた場合でもカバーするという動きができれば、十分に抑えることは可能と言える。
ドイツとしては負けることなど許されない試合。アルゼンチンの敗戦を見て、気合いを入れ直している可能性もあり、同じ目に遭いたくないとも思っているだろう。日本にとってはマイナスに働いたかもしれないが、焦りを生むことができればより勝機は見えてくるはずだ。

初めてのW杯に臨む選手が19人もいる日本代表。3試合をプランニングすることも考えた上で、ドイツ戦での勝ち点は最低条件。その大事な初戦に出るメンバーを予想した。
まずGKだが、ここは権田修一(清水エスパルス)だろう。森保監督からの信頼は厚く、高さという不利な部分は生まれるが、権田が日本のゴールを守ることになりそうだ。
最終ラインだが、センターバックにはDF吉田麻也(シャルケ)とDF板倉滉(ボルシアMG)を予想する。共にドイツでプレーし、相手の特徴も理解が深いはずだ。板倉はケガから復帰したばかりだが、カナダ戦でも問題ないプレーを見せていた。ケガをするまではバイエルン相手にもしっかりとした守備を見せていただけに、その感覚を取り戻してもらいたい。
そしてサイドバックだが、右には酒井宏樹(浦和レッズ)、左には長友佑都(FC東京)が入ると予想する。共に経験値は十分。そして対人守備の強さを持っている。カナダ戦でも十分なパフォーマンスを見せていただけに、気合も十分。"赤髪"の長友が何を見せてくれるかにも注目だ。
問題のボランチ。まず、遠藤航(シュツットガルト)は無事に出場が可能。日本の心臓ともいえ、ブンデスリーガでのデュエルマスターぶりは相手も知ってのこと。その力を存分に発揮してもらいたい。そして、本来であれば守田英正(スポルティングCP)が入るところだが、コンディションの問題がどうしても拭えない。全体練習には復帰したとはいえ、3試合を戦う中で無理をしてまで起用するリスクはいらないだろう。そうであれば、田中碧(デュッセルドルフ)が起用されると予想する。ドイツでプレーして2年目。ある程度強度、そして特徴は入っているはずだ。
2列目だが、右サイドには伊東純也(スタッド・ランス)、左サイドには久保建英(レアル・ソシエダ)と予想する。伊東に関しては言うまでもなく、日本のエース的存在。圧巻のスピード、一瞬にして置き去りにするドリブルは、ドイツのDFでも簡単には止められない。特に、3バック気味に攻撃を仕掛けるドイツにおいては、スペースが広大にある可能性が高く、伊東を生かすスペースは十分にありそうだ。また、今季はチームでトップに入ることもあり、中央でのプレー、カットインでのプレーも注目となる。そして久保だが、今季は好調を維持。コンディションは悪くなく、大舞台で何かを残しそうな予感はある。相手も警戒する選手の1人だろうが、強い相手にこそしっかりと機能するだろう。
トップ下には、鎌田大地(フランクフルト)が入るだろう。ドイツ代表の選手も大きな警戒をしてくる鎌田。ブンデスリーガだけでなく、チャンピオズリーグ(CL)でも結果を残しており、絶好調と言えるだろう。特に、得点力の向上が目覚ましく、ポジション取りも冴えている。鎌田が良い立ち位置を取るか、または鎌田が空けたスペースを使うか。いずれにしても、日本のキーマンになることは間違いない。場合によっては、ボランチに下げて起用することも森保監督の頭にはあるかもしれない。
そして1トップだが、ここは前田大然(セルティック)を予想する。なんといっても、一瞬でギアを上げるスピードでプレスをかけていきたいところ。後方からのビルドアップをどこまで制限できるか。2列目以降との連動が重要となるが、まずは相手の出鼻を挫くスプリントを見せてほしいところ。クラブでは決定力の低さに悩まされ、批判も浴びることがある前田だが、W杯でいかに払拭できるか。とにかく、プレスでドイツ守備陣を翻弄してもらいたい。

元ドイツ代表MFのディートマー・ハマン氏がドイツ代表DFアントニオ・リュディガーに対し苦言を呈した。イギリス『デイリー・メール』が伝えている。
23日、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)グループE第1節でドイツは日本と対戦。前半は試合を圧倒的に支配し1-0で折り返したものの、後半にシステムを変えた日本の反撃に遭うと、堂安律と浅野拓磨にゴールを許し逆転負け。まさかの2大会連続での初戦負けとなった。
この試合では、前半から何度も日本の守備陣に立ちはだかったリュディガーだが、1点リードで迎えた63分には物議を醸す場面があった。
右サイド裏への突破を図った浅野に対応したリュディガーは、並走しながら両足を高く上げ、腕も大きく振るモーションを披露。浅野の前に体を入れ、攻撃の芽を摘むと、ニヤリと笑っていた。
「ABEMA」で解説を務めた本田圭佑も「いや、でもちょっと今のは性格悪い。ちょっとバカにした走り方してた」と指摘した走り。リュディガーはクラブでもこの走り方を披露したことがあるが、舐めたプレーとも取れるものだった。
これにはドイツ代表のレジェンドであるハマン氏も苦言を呈している。
「リュディガーは足を上げてドヤ顔したんだ。相手を軽んじてはいけない。必ずいつか返ってくる」
「全くもってプロではなかったと思う。常軌を逸していたとよ。傲慢だ。彼は笑っていたが、今笑っているのは1つのチーム(日本)だけだ」
「ゲームの精神は、相手を尊敬することだ。それを彼はしなかった。説明も言い訳もできないよ」
結果的にその後逆転を許したドイツ代表。リュディガーとしては日本の心を折る算段もあったのかもしれないが。逆に日本の火をつけることになったかもしれない。
