かつてセリエAを彩ったピンク軍団のパレルモが、“昇格へ本気”の博打補強に打って出た。
21世紀初頭から十数年ほど、セリエAの中でもとりわけ馴染み深いクラブだったパレルモ。
何よりも「ピンク」のユニフォームが目を引き、時代によってルカ・トーニ、ハビエル・パストーレ、エディンソン・カバーニ、パウロ・ディバラといった役者がチームを牽引。セリエAの第二勢力として、常にCL権を争った。
しかし、良くも悪くも“面白い”名物オーナー、マウリツィオ・ザンパリーニ氏の限界が次第に表面化。2019-20シーズン、とうとう経営破綻でセリエDへの強制降格を余儀なくされた。
それでも、22-23シーズンにセリエBまで這い上がり、同じタイミングでシティ・フットボール・グループ(CFG)の傘下に。現在はニューヨーク・マンハッタンでプロモーション活動を行うなど、国際戦略にも力を入れている。
そんななか、今季のセリエBで現在8位。このままいけば昇格プレーオフだが、上下に僅差でライバルたちがひしめき合い、2016-17シーズン以来となるセリエA復帰へはまだまだ遠い。
ひとつでも順位を上げるには「得点力が必要」と捉えたのか、セリエA・ヴェネツィアでキャプテンを担うフィンランド代表FWヨエル・ポヒャンパロ(30)の獲得へオファーを出し、ここにきて交渉成立…ヴェネツィア不動のエース、今季セリエAで6得点という選手を、セリエBのパレルモが引き抜くことに成功したのである。
イタリア『カルチョメルカート』によると、ポヒャンパロは2日、パレルモと友好関係のユベントスでメディカルチェックを実施。移籍金はセリエBクラブにしては相当な大金であるはずの475万ユーロ(約7.6億円)だという。
これを受け、主将兼主砲ポヒャンパロを失うヴェネツィアのサポーターは、売却を決定したクラブに怒り心頭だという。何せ、ヴァネツィアはセリエB降格圏の19位に沈んでいる。

ヴェネツィアは13日、2023-24シーズンのホームユニフォームを発表した。
日本代表コーチの名波浩氏も在籍したことがあるヴェネツィア。2021年に20年ぶりにセリエAに昇格したものの、1年でセリエBに逆戻り。2022-23シーズンはセリエBで8位という成績だった。
そのヴェネツィアは、2021-22シーズンからユニフォームサプライヤーを「Kappa(カッパ)」に変更。さらに「BALENCIAGA(バレンシアガ)」や「Supreme(シュプリーム)」などのデザインを手掛けるスタジオ「Bureau Borsche (ビューロー・ボルシェ)」がデザインを担当するようになり、ユニフォームのデザイン性が一気に話題になっていた。
2023-24シーズンの新ユニフォームについても、そのタッグを継続。今回はヴェネツィアの芸術や文化へのオマージュとし、地元の著名な建築家カルロ・スカルパ氏を称え、スカルパ氏の代表作であるクエリーニ スタンパリア財団の建築からインスピレーションを得ているという。
黒をベースとしたユニフォームの袖口と襟はゴールドで、襟にはボタンが1つついている。そして、クラブの代名詞ともいえるオレンジとグリーンのストライプがシャツの中央に1本入っており、カッパのロゴやクラブのエンブレムなどはすべて左胸に配置。中央のストライプに目が行きやすいデザインになっている。
なお、長袖のバージョンについては袖口のデザインがゴールドではなくオレンジとグリーンの配色になるようだ。
ここ2シーズンと比べて、シンプル寄りなデザインとなった印象の新ユニフォーム。ファンからは「普段使いしたくらいオシャレ」、「ユニフォームには見えない」、「昨シーズンが良すぎた」、「めちゃくちゃオシャレ」と様々な反響が寄せられている。
ヴェネツィアのユニフォームは毎年アウェイユニフォームについても好評。新たなアウェイユニフォームはどんなデザインになるだろうか。

ヴェネツィアは7日、2022-23シーズンのホームユニフォームを発表した。
かつては元日本代表として活躍した松本山雅FCの名波浩監督も在籍したことがあるヴェネツィアは、20年ぶりにセリエAへ昇格するも、2021-22シーズンはリーグ最下位に終わり、新シーズンはセリエBで戦うこととなる。
今回のユニフォームは、「BALENCIAGA(バレンシアガ)」や「Supreme(シュプリーム)」などのデザインを手掛けるデザインスタジオ「ビューロー・ボルシェ(Bureau Borsche)」と、サプライヤーのカッパがデザインを手掛けている。
1990年代にインスピレーションを受けたというユニフォームは、襟付きと長袖という2つのクラシックな要素を現代風にリニューアル。ブラックがベースになっており、袖から脇にかけて細く控えめなオレンジとグリーンのラインがアクセントとして施されている。

ヴェネツィアは7日、2023-24シーズンの3rdユニフォームを発表した。
近年、ユニフォームのデザイン性の高さが話題になっているヴェネツィア。2021-22シーズンからユニフォームサプライヤーを「Kappa(カッパ)」に変更し、「BALENCIAGA(バレンシアガ)」や「Supreme(シュプリーム)」などのデザインを手掛けるスタジオ「Bureau Borsche (ビューロー・ボルシェ)」がデザインを担当するようになると、イタリア国外のファンからも大きな注目を集めた。
今シーズンもカッパとビューロー・ボルシェとのタッグを継続している中、3rdユニフォームはヴェネツィアの運河を象徴するゴンドラを操縦する船漕ぎへのオマージュが捧げられたデザインとなった。
船漕ぎの制服を彷彿とさせる黒に近い青と白のボーダーが採用され、袖までボーダーが続いているように見えるデザインに。大きめの襟はオレンジに近い赤で、これはかつてヴェネツィアを中心に設立されたサン・マルコ共和国の国旗に用いられる色を象徴している。
また、胸元のクラブのエンブレムやカッパのロゴなどはすべてゴールドで施されている。
ホームとアウェイでもヴェネツィアの芸術や文化へのオマージュを捧げたデザインにしていたヴェネツィア。この3rdユニフォームについても明確なテーマのもとでデザインされ、ファンからは「囚人服やん」、「これは素晴らしい」、「とても美しい」、「最も美しいシャツの一つ」と様々な反響が寄せられている。

セリエBのヴェネツィアとそのユニフォームを手掛ける「Bureau Borsche (ビューロー・ボルシェ)」の契約は今季までとなる。ビューロー・ボルシェのデザイナーを務めるミルコ・ボルシェ氏が自身のインスタグラムで伝えている。
日本代表コーチの名波浩氏も在籍したことがあるヴェネツィア。2021年に20年ぶりにセリエAに昇格したものの、1年でセリエBに逆戻り。2022-23シーズンはセリエBで8位という成績だった。
そのヴェネツィアがここ3年間注目を集めていたのはユニフォームのデザイン。2021-22シーズンからユニフォームサプライヤーを「Kappa(カッパ)」に変更し、「BALENCIAGA(バレンシアガ)」や「Supreme(シュプリーム)」などのデザインも手掛けるデザインスタジオ、ビューロー・ボルシェがデザインを担当するようになると、そのデザイン性の高さで大きな話題となっていた。
今シーズンもヴェネツィアの芸術や文化へのオマージュを含んだ3種類のユニフォームは話題となっていたが、両者の関係は今シーズンまでとなるようだ。ミルコ・ボルシェ氏が自身のインスタグラムで「この旅は3年で終わりを告げる」と明らかにしている。
なお、ビューロー・ボルシェはヴェネツィアのほかに2022-23シーズンからアテネ・カリテアというギリシャのクラブのユニフォームもデザイン。こちらは引き続きデザインを行っていくようだ。
来シーズン以降ヴェネツィアのユニフォームのデザインはどうなっていくのだろうか。
