データおよびテクノロジーにおけるリーディングカンパニーの「ニールセン・グレースノート」が、オーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)に出場する選手のインフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表した。
なでしこジャパンも出場する女子W杯。開幕までおよそ1カ月となった中で、各国の出場選手も決定している。
「ニールセン・グレースノート」は出場する選手の中での、インフルエンサーとしてのランキングを発表。フォロワーやフォロワーの増加、エンゲージメント率など、インスタグラム上の投稿ごとの平均ブランド価値を評価してランキングを発表した。
トップ10が発表され、実に9カ国の選手がランクイン。アメリカ女子代表のみが唯一2選手がランクインしている。
1位に輝いたのは、アストン・ビラでプレーするスイス女子代表のアリーシャ・レーマン。世界一セクシーなアスリートとしても知られ、インスタグラムのフォロワーは1340万人。元プロテニスプレーヤーのロジャー・フェデラーを超え、インスタグラムで最も人気のあるスイス人アスリートとなっている。
アストン・ビラでは2シーズンでFA女子スーパーリーグ(FAWSL)で43試合に出場し7ゴール。スイス代表としても38キャップを記録している。
2位には、バルセロナのエースでありスペイン女子代表のエースでもあるMFアレクシア・プテジャス。フォロワーは280万人であり、1位のレーマンがどれほどのフォロワーを抱えているかがわかる。
2シーズン連続でUEFA年間最優秀女子選手、バロンドールを受賞。2021年にはFIFA最優秀女子選手賞を受賞している。
2022年にはスペイン女子初となる代表100キャップに到達。その後、前十字じん帯を損傷し女子ユーロは欠場していた。
3位は、サンディエゴ・ウェーブスに所属するアメリカ女子代表FWアレックス・モーガン。フォロワーは1000万人だが、増加率やエンゲージメント率が低く、価値は3位となった。
言わずと知れたアメリカのエースで、過去2度のW杯優勝を経験。2012年のロンドン・オリンピックでは金メダルを獲得している。アメリカ女子代表として200キャップ以上を記録し、120ゴール以上を決めている。
4位はOHレインに所属するカナダ女子代表のFWジョーディン・ホイテマ。160万人以上のフォロワー数を持っている。

5位は6度目のW杯に臨むオーランド・プライドのブラジル女子代表FWマルタ。37歳にして6大会連続のゴールを目指すほか、すでに男女最多となるW杯で17ゴールを記録。これまでFIFA最優秀選手賞を6度受賞した名手だ。
プレーヤーとしての注目はもちろんのこと、インフルエンサーとしても注目を集める選手が多い女子W杯。残念ながらなでしこジャパンの選手はトップ10に入らなかったが、注目したいところだ。

アタランタのスイス代表MFレモ・フロイラー(30)が、ノッティンガム・フォレストへの移籍に近づいているようだ。
フロイラーは2016年1月に母国のルツェルンからアタランタへ加入。ジャン・ピエロ・ガスペリーニ監督から大きな信頼を寄せられており、クラブ通算259試合に出場し、20得点23アシストを記録。昨季は多くの試合でキャプテンマークを巻いてピッチに立った。
イタリア『TuttoMercatoWeb』によると、アタランタはフロイラーの移籍金として1000万ユーロ(約13億6000万円)を要求。一方のフォレストは700万ユーロ(約9億6000万円)を提示しているとのことだ。
現時点では金額に隔たりがあるものの、両者は合意に接近しつつあり、フロイラーも代理人を通じてフォレスト側とのやりとりを開始したとのこと。また、周囲に対しても退団を示唆しているという。

アルタッハの指揮官を解任されたばかりのミロスラフ・クローゼ氏(44)が、グラスホッパーの新指揮官に候補に浮上しているようだ。スイス『ブリック』が報じている。
昨夏からアルタッハの監督を務めていたクローゼ氏。しかし、今季は24試合終了時点で5勝5分け14敗の最下位と低迷し、3月21日に解任の憂き目を味わうことになった。
初トップチーム監督をほろ苦い結果で終えたドイツ人指揮官だが、今夏に同じスイスリーグの別のクラブを率いる可能性があるようだ。
『ブリック』によれば、2021年の夏から指揮を執っているジョルジョ・コンティーニ監督の退任が決定的となっているグラスホッパーが、リーズ前指揮官の招へいに動いており、数日中に会談が予定しているようだ。
また、クラブは新しい指揮官で来季を迎えることをすでに決めており、21日にベルント・ハースSDがコンティーニ監督にもその決定を伝えたという。

インテルのスイス代表GKヤン・ゾマーが、母国ファン・メディアからの批判に晒されている。イタリア『カルチョメルカート』が伝えている。
今シーズンからインテルのゴールマウスを守るゾマー。昨季まで長らくブンデスリーガで活躍した守護神は身長183cmとGKとしては背は高くないものの、優れた反射神経やセービングなど能力に疑いの余地がなく、「GKはサイズが全てではない」を身をもって証明してきた34歳だ。
スイス代表ではかれこれ10年近く正GKの座を守っており、15日に行われたユーロ2024予選グループI第7節のベラルーシ代表戦で通算85キャップ目。しかし、3-3のドローに終わったこの一戦は1失点目、2失点目のゾマーの対応について、スイス国内で議論が拡大しているという。
スイスが先制して迎えた61分、ベラルーシのクロスにゴール前へフリーで飛び込まれて1失点目。スイスのセンターバック2枚がマークに付けなかったことが失点の大前提としてあるものの、ゾマーはクロスに飛び出しを躊躇している間に頭で合わされ、反応することができなかった。
69分にはベラルーシの左CKからヘディングシュートを放たれると、ゾマーの左手をかすめてネットへ吸い込まれ2失点目。その後さらに1点を追加されたスイスだが、なんとか終盤に2点を取り返し、ホームで3-3のドローに持ち込んだ。
この試合を受け、スイスメディアは「ドルトムント所属のGKグレゴール・コベル(25)を正GKに」という論調を展開。ゾマーの12月で35歳という年齢、1失点目は自信のなさが飛び出しの躊躇を招いた、2失点目は183cmという身長が影響した、といった批判が出ているとのことだ。
それでもスイスを率いるムラト・ヤキン監督はチーム最年長のベテランを擁護。「GKをチェンジ? ゾマーはスイスとインテルでリーダーとなっている男だ。彼は皆に自信と安心感を与えている。この点について私は疑念のかけらもない」
「ポジション争いは今から始めることではない。以前からゾマーも競争を感じているはずだ。これまでのところ良い試合をしてくれているよ。今後も全ての試合でベストを尽くしてくれると確信している」
ベラルーシ戦は相手が格下であるだけでなく、ホームゲームであり、勝てばユーロ本大会行きがグッと近づく一戦だったためか、大きな批判に晒されることとなったゾマー。だが、そこはベテラン。すぐに切り替えて前を向いていることだろう。
