前節は国立競技場での清水エスパルス戦で0-3と快勝。今季1番の出来と言っても良い戦いぶりで連敗を2でストップさせた。
GKシュミット・ダニエルが直前で負傷を訴え、19歳GKピサノアレックス幸冬堀尾が緊急でJ1デビューを果たす中、クリーンシートで戦いを終えて、降格圏も脱出した。
難しい局面を乗り越えた名古屋だが、課題はまだまだある状況。清水戦は勝利したとはいえ、パス成功率は73.8%と改善の余地あり。ショートカウンターで仕留められる可能性も十分にある。
まずは前節の戦いをもう一度発揮し、今季2度目の連勝で降格圏を離れていきたい。

<h3>◆ぶつかった壁を乗り越えろ【ファジアーノ岡山】</h3>
クラブ史上初のJ1挑戦のシーズンは序盤こそ快進撃を見せていたが、ここに来て急に陰りが。ホーム無敗が止まった鹿島アントラーズ戦から4戦未勝利。1分け3敗と初めて壁にぶち当たっている。
J1との力の差を大きく感じるのは、やはり攻撃面。第3節を最後に複数得点はなく、直近2試合は無得点。クリーンシートも4試合遠ざかっており、一番苦しい時期とも言える。
連戦ということもあり、チームを立て直す時間はない。ただ、全く手も足も出ないというわけではなく、いかにチャンスを決め切ることができるかが勝敗のカギに。この壁を乗り越えれば、また1つステージを上がることができるはずだ。

横浜F・マリノスのFWアンデルソン・ロペスが、妻の妊娠を発表した。
2022シーズンから横浜FMでプレーするアンデルソン・ロペス。加入1年目の昨シーズンは明治安田生命J1リーグで11ゴールを記録し、チームのリーグ優勝に大きく貢献した。
迎えた2年目の今シーズンはさらに得点力が増し、ここまでJ1で17試合を戦い13ゴールを記録。すでにJリーグでのキャリアハイの数字を更新し、3試合連続2点ずつを記録するなど、目下絶好調だ。
そのアンデルソン・ロペスが自身のインスタグラムを更新。妻のブルーナ・ロペスさんとの2ショットを披露し、妊娠を報告した。
「あなたは僕の人生の女性であり、僕たちの子供の母親になるのにふさわしい人です。愛している」

名古屋グランパスは8日、2024シーズンのキャプテンと副キャプテンを発表した。
2023シーズンは長谷川健太監督の下、上位を争い優勝も見えていた。しかし、夏にFWマテウス・カストロがサウジアラビアへと移籍すると、後半戦は大失速。17試合でわずか4勝と上位とは思えない成績となり、6位でシーズンを終えていた。
2024シーズンに向けては、中谷進之介(→ガンバ大阪)、藤井陽也(→コルトレイク)、丸山祐市(→川崎フロンターレ)、森下龍矢(→レギア・ワルシャワ)とディフェンスラインが一気に入れ替わることとなり、転換期を迎えるシーズンとなる。
そんなシーズンでキャプテンを務めるのはGKランゲラック。また、副キャプテンにはMF和泉竜司、MF森島司、DF井上詩音が務めることとなった。

名古屋グランパスからサウジ・プロ・リーグのアル・タアーウンへと移籍したFWマテウス・カストロが婚約を報告した。
大宮アルディージャや名古屋グランパス、横浜F・マリノスでプレーしたマテウスは、2023年8月に名古屋からアル・タアーウンへと完全移籍した。
今シーズンはサウジ・プロ・リーグで19試合に出場し6ゴール6アシストと活躍。しかし、左足アキレス腱断裂の重傷で手術を行い、現在は長期離脱を余儀なくされている。
そのマテウスは24日にインスタグラムを更新。2023年11月12日にドバイで、交際中の女性にプロポーズしたことを明かしている。
マテウスは、『ハリーウィンストン(HARRY WINSTON)』の指輪を携え、砂浜でサプライズプロポーズ。無数のバルーンで彩られた「MARRY ME(結婚して)」のメッセージとともにディナーも楽しんだようだ。

3日、明治安田J1リーグ第14節の清水エスパルスvs名古屋グランパスが国立競技場で行われた。
現在3連勝中の清水と2連敗中の名古屋の一戦。調子が真逆の両者が国立の舞台で激突した。
清水は直近のリーグ戦から1名を変更。吉田豊に代えて山原レオンを起用した。
対する名古屋は5名も変更。GKシュミット・ダニエル、野上結貴、河面旺成、中山克広、森島司が外れ、ピサノアレックス幸冬堀尾、佐藤瑶大、原輝綺、徳元悠平、内田宅哉を起用した。
互いに牽制した入りとなった中、名古屋は34分にチャンス。ロングボールに反応したマテウス・カストロがボックス内左の角度のないところから豪快にシュートも枠を外れる。
しかし36分、右サイドからの内田のクロスに対し、ニアサイドに走り込んだ稲垣祥がヘッド。これが決まり、清水が先制する。
先制を許した清水は44分、ボックス内左を仕掛けカピシャーバが折り返し。これを弓場将輝がダイレクトで蹴り込むも、佐藤瑶大がブロックする。
名古屋の1点リードで迎えた後半も早々に名古屋がゴール。48分、右サイドを内田が仕掛けると、ボックス右からクロス。ボックス内で清水はクリアできないと、和泉竜司がこぼれ球を蹴り込んで追加点を奪った。
さらに50分、名古屋は流動的な攻撃を見せると、またしても右サイドの内田が持ち運びマイナスのパス。ボックス手前で山岸祐也が溜めると、後方から走り込んだ椎橋慧也にパス。これを落ち着いて決めた。
あっという間に3点リードを奪った名古屋。清水は78分にチャンス。左CKからのクロスをファーサイドで折り返すと、マテウス・ブエノがシュート。しかし、シュートはクロスバー直撃する。
2つの決定機を逃した清水は最後までゴールを奪えず。0-3で名古屋が勝利して連敗ストップ。4連勝を目指した清水は、またしても“ホーム”国立で勝利とはならなかった。
