クラブによると、それが起きたのは2日にホームで行われたラツィオとのコッパ・イタリア準決勝1stレグ(ユベントスが2-0で先勝)。先発したマッケニーは89分の交代時に一部のビジターサポーターから差別的なチャントの標的になったという。

クラブは4日に公式サイトを通じた声明にて、SNS上で広がる動画をきっかけに調査を開始した旨を明らかにしている。

「ユベントスFCはSNSで拡散され、一部メディアで報じられた動画を確認した。2日に行われたコッパ・イタリア準決勝1stレグのラツィオ戦でウェストン・マッケニーが交代時にビジター席から差別的なチャントを浴びた。クラブは事件の確認を経て、出来事の検証と犯人の特定に向け、全面的に協力するとともに、必要な措置を講じるため、あらゆる手続きを開始した」

そんなユベントスは公式Xでも連帯を示しており、「二度と繰り返さない」とのキャプションとともに、マッケニーの白黒写真を投稿している。

世界各国のクラブやリーグが鳥山明さんを追悼…兄弟選手がフュージョン、メンバーリストが『ドラゴンボール』仕様になるなど愛で溢れる

ユベントスがジープ社と再契約、総額114億円の支援

ユベントスは13日、アメリカの自動車メーカーであるジープ社と2028年6月まで契約した。ユニフォームのメインスポンサーとなる。契約料は総額6900万ユーロ(約113億8000万円)とのこと。契約料の内訳は今季終了までに400万ユーロ、来季に1900万ユーロ、残り2シーズンが2300万ユーロとなる。ユベントスとジープ社は昨季終了後、2012年から続いていたスポンサー関係が終了していたが、再び蜜月の関係となった。なお、ジープ社はユベントスの歴代会長を輩出してきたフィアット創業家のアニェッリ家が所有する投資会社エクソールの傘下にあたる。 2025.05.14 09:30 Wed
