マンチェスター・シティとイングランドサッカー協会(FA)は4日、イングランド女子代表のGKキアラ・キーティング(19)がヒザの負傷のために代表活動を離脱することを発表した。
イングランドは現在、女子欧州選手権(ユーロ)2025予選に向けた代表活動中。5日にホームでスウェーデン女子代表、9日にアウェイでアイルランド女子代表と対戦する。
キーティングは今季のリーグ戦18試合全試合に出場し、7つのクリーンシートを達成。イングランド女子代表には昨年10月に初招集されたが、まだデビューは果たしてない。
負傷の程度は明かされていないが、シティとしてはリーグ戦優勝争いの真っただ中なだけに、軽度であることを願うばかりだ。
なお、キーティングに代わっては、年代別の代表で活躍しているサウサンプトンのGKケイラ・レンデル(22)が追加招集となる。

北中米W杯の欧州予選組み合わせ決定! 12カ国+POの4カ国が出場権獲得、来年3月からスタート【2026年北中米W杯欧州予選】
