バイエルンは15日、フランス代表DFダヨ・ウパメカノに対する人種差別的発言を受けての声明を発表した。
14日に行われたチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)ラウンド16の1stレグで、バイエルンはラツィオとアウェイで対戦。67分、グスタフ・イサクセンに対するボックス内でのウパメカノのチャレンジがファウルとなり、PKを献上するとともに、ウパメカノにはレッドカードが提示された。
このPKが決勝点となり、バイエルンは敵地で0-1と敗戦。ウパメカノへは厳しい声が寄せられただけでなく、SNS上では人種差別的な発言までも受けることとなった。
ただし、批判と差別的発言は明らかに異なる。クラブは毅然とした態度を取り、試合の翌日に公式SNSで声明を発表。コメントを非難するとともに、ウパメカノに寄り添う姿勢を改めて示している。

伝説のGKカーンが語る意外な後悔「あそこに移籍すれば良かった」
