アジアサッカー連盟(AFC)はアジアカップ2023のグループステージ最終節のマッチオフィシャルを発表した。
2011年以来のアジアカップ制覇を目指す日本。しかし、ベトナム代表、イラク代表相手に苦戦。イラクには敗れ、最終節で突破を目指してインドネシア代表と戦うこととなる。
インドネシアも3位ながら日本と並ぶ勝ち点3。勝てば2位通過が決まるだけあって、死に物狂いで日本に向かってくることは間違いない。
その大事な一戦の審判団が決定。日本をよく知る主審が担当することとなった。
割り当てられたのはカタールのカミス・モハメド・アル・マッリ主審。カタール・スターズリーグで主審を務め、2010年から国際審判員として登録されている。
日本では7試合を担当。日本代表のエル・サルバドル代表戦で第4審を務め、ペルー代表戦では主審を担当。明治安田生命J1リーグで4試合、明治安田生命J2リーグで1試合を担当した。担当した試合では、元スペイン代表MFアンドレス・イニエスタのJリーグラストマッチも担当していた。
また、アジアカップでは、日本代表vsイラク代表でVARを担当。FW浅野拓磨が獲得したと思われたPKで主審にオン・フィールド・レビューを促していた。

「激アツ」「どっちも可愛い」長谷川唯の“激レア”スペイン代表ユニフォーム姿が話題! イニエスタにも例えられるボンマティの日本代表ユニも話題「なんかエモい」

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

水頭症の治療も及ばず他界した工藤壮人に古巣が追悼…カナダからもメッセージ「一番辛い仕事」、「信じられません」

「公式がこれは泣けるよ」W杯を終えた日本代表、JFA公開の映像がイナズマイレブンの楽曲含め大反響「4年後も期待」

BE:FIRSTがアンバサダー就任の「FILA」、かつては中田英寿氏も同ブランドのスパイクを着用
