スペイン女子代表FWジェニファー・エルモソが、世界を騒がせたキス事件について法廷で証言した。スペイン『マルカ』やイギリス『BBC』、アメリカ『CNN』など複数メディアが伝えている。事件が起きたのは2023年夏に行われたオーストラリア&ニュージーランド女子ワールドカップ(W杯)の優勝直後。表彰式の際に、当時のスペインサッカー連盟(RFEF)の会長だったルイス・ルビアレス氏から唇にキスを受けていた。

セレモニー中の衝撃的なシーンには世界中が反応。ルビアレス会長の行為に多くの批判が集まり、キスが合意ではないと訴えられた中で、ルビアレス会長は「合意の上だった」と主張を繰り返していた。
その後、ルビアレス会長は周囲からの批判を受けて2023年9月にRFEFの会長を辞任。さらに、エルモソは性的暴力で訴えることとなり、訴追を受ける可能性がある状況だ。

現在この行為に対して証拠が調べられている中、スペインの国家検察庁は2日に非公開で行われた公判後に声明を発表。「エルモソが検察官に申告した内容を承認した」とした。
「キスは予期せぬもので、決して合意の上ではなかった。この事件後、被害者がスペインに戻る飛行機の中でも、イビサに滞在している間にも、捜査対象者らの手によって経験した状況は、彼女の通常の生活を一変させる嫌がらせにあたり、不安と悲しみの状況を生み出していた」

ルビアレス元会長が強く主張する合意などは決してなかったと法廷で証言したエルモソ。法廷の外では記者団に対して「全てがうまくいった」と発言し、このまま訴訟が進んでいくことを望んでいるという。

なお、国際サッカー連盟(FIFA)はルビアレス氏に対して3年間のサッカー関連活動の禁止処分を与えている。

「脅迫も受けた」キスの被害者であるエルモソが告白、苦しい被害者の心境「自分が引き起こしたわけではないのに…」

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

「激アツ」「どっちも可愛い」長谷川唯の“激レア”スペイン代表ユニフォーム姿が話題! イニエスタにも例えられるボンマティの日本代表ユニも話題「なんかエモい」
