アメリカサッカー連盟(USSF)は18日、ユベントスのMFウェストン・マッケニーがアメリカ代表を離脱したことを発表した。
今月の代表ウィークでアメリカ代表の招集を受けたマッケニー。16日に行われたCONCACAFネーションズリーグ準々決勝1stレグのトリニダード・トバゴ代表戦にフル出場した。
しかし、マッケニーは試合後、左ヒザに違和感を訴えた模様。検査の結果、問題が明らかとなり、ひと足先に代表活動を切り上げ、所属先のユベントスに戻ることになった。
今後、アメリカ代表は21日にCONCACAFネーションズリーグ準々決勝2ndレグでトリニダード・トバゴ代表と再戦する。

「ハリーポッターの大ファン」ユーベの米代表MFが一風変わったセレブレーションの真相語る

リーズの19歳FWニョントがイタリア帰還へ? ナポリやユベントスら関心か

メキシコ女子が大金星!W杯4度制覇のアメリカから約13年ぶり2度目の勝利、終盤にはゴラッソも飛び出す

癌でもサッカーを続ける少年へ…プリシッチが“芋虫”パフォーマンスの理由を打ち明ける
