バイエルンのフランス代表DFダヨ・ウパメカノの家に入った強盗が逮捕されたという。フランス『ル・パリジャン』が伝えた。
3人が押し入り、1人が外で待っていた4人組とのこと。彼らが逃走する様子は監視カメラで撮影されており、捜査が進んでいた中、2件の強盗を起こしていたこともわかったという。
逮捕されたのは17歳と23歳の男。ウパメカノの自宅とは知らずに侵入していたという。なお、8月31日に2人は起訴さていた。

ウパメカヨは、7月26日に自宅が強盗被害。母親と兄が居た中、午前4時ごろに物音が。母親がベッドから出てみると、フードを被り、黒い服を着て、手袋をしている3人の男と鉢合わせることとなった。男の1人は拳銃を持っていた中、兄も起きてきて対面することに。数台の電話やPC、銀行のカード、高級時計を持って逃げ去ったという。逮捕されたのは17歳と23歳の男。ウパメカノの自宅とは知らずに侵入していたという。なお、8月31日に2人は起訴さていた。
遠征を含めて家を空けることの多いサッカー選手の自宅は狙われることが多く、頻繁に被害に遭うことが報告されている。実際に自宅に居合わせ、監禁された選手もおり、家族だけが被害に遭うことも。

「鶏デカすぎ」「ケンタッキーとのコラボか?」フランス代表の新ユニフォームにはビッグサイズのロゴが採用「巨大すぎない?」
