セルクル・ブルージュは14日、フライブルクからU-21ベルギー代表DFウーゴ・シケ(20)をレンタルしたことを発表した。契約は今季までだが、1年間の延長オプションがつく。
シケはベルギーの名門スタンダール・リエージュ出身。セルクル・ブルージュには昨年1月に450万ユーロの移籍金で加入したが、昨季はリザーブチームが主戦場となり、トップチームでの出場は1試合にとどまった。
今季もここまでリーグ戦では2試合、ヨーロッパリーグで1試合となかなか出番がもらえず、シーズン後半は母国に戻って経験値を積むことに。セルクル・ブルージュは現在、ジュピラー・プロ・リーグで10位に位置しており、日本代表FW上田綺世も活躍中だ。
なお、同クラブではウーゴ・シケの叔父にあたるティエリ・シケ氏が現役時代に1991年から1997年の間在籍し、公式戦151試合に出場した。

フライブルクが生え抜きのU-21ドイツ代表DFローゼンフェルダーと契約延長
