モロッコ代表DFアクラフ・ハキミがカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)での快進撃を誇った。

前評判こそ高くなかったモロッコだが、準決勝までわずか1失点の守りを武器に台風の目に。同国史上初のベスト8に続いて、アフリカ勢の歴史を動かす4強入りも成し遂げ、サプライズを起こした。

準決勝では前回王者のフランス代表に堅守を崩され、0-2で躍進の歩みを止められてしまったモロッコだが、不動の右サイドバックとして進撃のひと役を買ったハキミは充実感に満ちているようだ。

15日にSNSを更新。まだ17日にクロアチア代表との3位決定戦を控えるが、ここまでの歩みを振り返り、胸を張った。

「うっとりする」「本当に美しい」W杯で生まれた感動のワンシーン、母親の愛が詰まった瞬間が壁画に「モロッコはみんなの心を奪った」
