フライブルクの日本代表MF堂安律が、代表合宿合流を報告した。19日からドイツ・デュッセルドルフでトレーニングキャンプをスタートさせた日本代表。日本人が約8500人が在住していると言われ、ヨーロッパで最大の日本人コミュニティが形成されている街としても知られている。
カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)前の最後の合宿となり、30人招集された選手たちは26人のメンバー入りを目指して戦うこととなる。
日本はキリンチャレンジカップ2022で、23日にはアメリカ代表と。27日にはエクアドル代表と対戦。戦いに向けて、今季好調を維持している堂安はインスタグラムで合宿スタートを報告した。
新ユニフォームも今回の2試合でお披露目される中、日本代表のトレーニングウェアも一新。上は黄色、下は青という新鮮なスタイルとなった。

「まさに死闘ってカンジ」歴史に残るバーレーンとの4-3の激闘!2004年大会プレイバックに反響「このゴールで中澤佑二に惚れた」
