関係が破綻したサンチョとテン・ハグ監督、その理由は以前からのひどい遅刻癖か
マンチェスター・ユナイテッドのイングランド代表FWジェイドン・サンチョとエリク・テン・ハグ監督の確執問題。サンチョの態度は想像以上に悪かったようだ。『The Athletic』が伝えた。 問題が明るみに出たのは3日のアーセナル戦後のこと。開幕から3試合は途中出場でプレーしていたサンチョだったが、ビッグマッチにその姿はなかった。 試合後、テン・ハグ監督は「トレーニングでの彼のパフォーマンスによって、我々は彼を(招集メンバーに)選ばなかった」とサンチョのメンバー外を説明。一方で、サンチョはこの発言を否定し「不公平」と訴えていた。 確執が明るみとなり、サンチョも公に監督を批判。その後にSNSの投稿は削除されたが、自身のスタンスは多くの目に留まることとなり、テン・ハグ監督も簡単にチームには戻さないことにしたという。 サウジアラビアへの電撃移籍も浮上し、具体的なオファーも届いた中、サンチョ自身が移籍を望まずに破談。その後、両者は直接話し合いを行ったとされるも、溝が埋まることはなかったが、どうやらサンチョの問題児ぶりはかなりのものだったという。 テン・ハグ監督が最も嫌っているのが遅刻癖とのこと。トレーニング中の怠惰な様子も去ることながら、スタートの時点でかなりの怒りを覚えており、他の選手たちもその点を気にしていたという。 昨シーズン就任したテン・ハグ監督は、サンチョの遅刻癖を考慮して、他のメンバーよりも1時間早くスケジュールを設定していたとのこと。遅刻したとしても、他のチームメイトと同じ時間に来れるように策を講じたという。結果としてこの作戦は成功し、当初は一定の成果を出したそうだが、次第に気がついたサンチョは再び送れるようになったという。 ドルトムントで若くしてその才能を開花させ、2021年7に移籍金7500万ポンド(約137億5000万円)でユナイテッドに加入したサンチョ。しかし、ここまで公式戦82試合で12ゴール6アシストに終わっており、期待値からは程遠い成績となっている。 マンチェスター・シティの下部組織育ちで、2017年にはU-17イングランド代表としてU-17ワールドカップ優勝を経験。ドルトムントで主軸となったが、その態度は当時から疑問視されることもあったという。 ドルトムントに近しい情報筋によれば「ジェイドンはピッチ上では精神的にタフだった」と評価しながらも、「かなり子供っぽく、些細なことでプロ意識に欠ける可能性がある」と指摘。「チームミーティングを欠席したり、寝坊したりすることが問題視されていた」と遅刻ぐせは予てからあったとされ、「ルシアン・ファブレ監督のアシスタントコーチだったエディン・テルジッチがサンチョのホテルの部屋をノックしに行くほどだった」と、エピソードを明かした。 テルジッチ氏は2020年12月に監督に就任したが、当時ドルトムントにいたサンチョに対しては、スタッフに特別な注意を払うように指示していたという。そして、ノルウェー代表FWアーリング・ハーランド(マンチェスター・シティ)と行動を共にさせ、ハーランドからプロ意識を学ばせようともしたという。 一方で、ユナイテッドではよりベストな状態を保つことが求められていたが、テン・ハグ監督の就任により、それがより強固なものに。ただ、予ての遅刻癖の再発、態度の問題が浮上してしまった結果、現在の確執に発展。ユナイテッドは1月の売却を検討せざるを得ない状況となったようだ。 2023.09.14 10:10 Thu

「高価な食べ物はない」ギネス記録樹立、C・ロナウドのあの肉体の秘訣を専属シェフが明かす
