イングランド代表のロッカールームに置かれた大量のピザがファンたちの注目を集めている。イギリス『サン』が伝えている。イングランドは15日、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)欧州予選グループIの最終節でサンマリノ代表と対戦。すでにW杯への出場が確定し、若手や代表キャップ数の少ないメンバーで挑んだ中、ケインの4ゴールなどの活躍もあり、10-0の大量得点で快勝を収めた。

試合後のロッカールームでは、代表デビューを飾ったGKアーロン・ラムズデールとMFコナー・ギャラガーの表彰が行われ、イングランド代表の公式インスタグラムはその様子を公開した。
しかし、ファンたちの視線を集めたのは2人への表彰ではなく、ロッカールームに積み上げられた大量のピザだった。

テーブルの上には、少なくとも30枚以上のピザの箱が複数箇所に積み上げられており、投稿には「たくさんのピザ」「なぜこんなにもたくさんのピザがあるの?」「このピザは私のため?それとも男子チームのため?」とピザに関するコメントが殺到している。
欧州予選を8勝2分けの無敗で勝ち上がったイングランド。少し量が多すぎる気もしなくもないが、10ゴールを決めた試合後のピザは格別においしかったのではないだろうか。

ポチェッティーノ監督退任で、チェルシーが選手売却に動く可能性

元ユナイテッドSDがFAに復帰…新設のチーフ・フットボール・オフィサーに就任

元マンチェスター・ユナイテッドのスポーツディレクター(SD)、ダン・アシュワース氏が、イングランドサッカー協会(FA)に復帰することになった。 FAは14日、アシュワース氏が新設のチーフ・フットボール・オフィサーに就任すると発表。同職ではイングランド代表の男女チームと緊密に連携していくことになるという。 昨年12月にユナイテッドのSDをわずか5カ月で退任したアシュワース氏。それ以前にはブライトン&ホーヴ・アルビオン、ニューカッスルで手腕を発揮しており、国内外のクラブからのオファーも想定されていたが、2018年まで6年間に渡って勤務していたFAに復帰することになった。 アシュワース氏は、セント・ジョージズ・パークの再開発を監督し、2028年に開催されるユーロ2028の共催に向け、競技施設とピッチの改善を目指す。 さらに、この新役職は、男子フットボールのテクニカルディレクターであるジョン・マクダーモット氏と緊密に連携するとともに、FAの最高経営責任者(CEO)であるマーク・ブリンガム氏とも連携する。 また、イングランド国内の地元出身のコーチの育成にも携わる予定だという。 2025.05.15 16:30 Thu

北中米W杯の欧州予選組み合わせ決定! 12カ国+POの4カ国が出場権獲得、来年3月からスタート【2026年北中米W杯欧州予選】

イングランド代表が新ユニフォームを発表、赤ではなくなったアウェイは賛否分かれる「初めてじゃないか?」「そのチョイスはなしだ」
