東京オリンピックの女子サッカー決勝に関して、当初の予定から時間を変更して行うこととなった。
東京オリンピックも大会終了が近づいている中、6日に女子サッカーの決勝、スウェーデン女子代表vsカナダ女子代表が行われる。
ともに初の金メダル獲得を目指し戦う一戦。しかし、どういうわけかこれまでの試合は夕方以降に行われていた中、決勝だけは11時キックオフという不思議な日程が組まれていた。
しかし、真夏日が続く中、酷暑が予想される状況で、スウェーデンサッカー協会(SvFF)とカナダサッカー協会(CSA)がキックオフ時間の変更を国際オリンピック委員会(IOC)にキックオフ時間の変更を求めていた。
すると、試合を翌日に控えた中、両国のサッカー協会がキックオフ時間について発表。11時キックオフが21時キックオフに変更になったとし、試合会場も国立競技場から横浜国際総合競技場に変更となることが決まったようだ。

「今までで最も酷い」「複雑な気持ち」太陽をイメージしたスウェーデン代表の新ユニフォームが大不評「一体どうすればこんなにも間違うのか」
