イタリア代表のアシスタントコーチを務めるアルベリコ・エバーニ氏が、ユベントスのイタリア代表FWフェデリコ・キエーザを称賛した。イタリア『Tuttomercatoweb』が伝えている。

キエーザは昨夏にフィオレンティーナからユベントスに移籍。すぐさま主軸としてポジションを掴むと、公式戦46試合出場15ゴール11アシストの成績を残した。コッパ・イタリア決勝では決勝点を決める働きを見せており、チームにタイトルをもたらしている。

こうした活躍を受け、キエーザは6月に開幕したユーロ2020のイタリア代表メンバーに選出。大会当初はベンチスタートが続いたが、ラウンド16のオーストリア代表戦で貴重な先制点を記録すると、準々決勝からはスタメンに定着。準決勝スペイン代表戦でも得点をマークしており、チームの53年ぶりのユーロ優勝に多大な貢献を果たした。

日本人が目指すべきCB像、“希少なバロンドーラー“ファビオ・カンナバーロ
