シント=トロイデンがマース監督と契約解除、来季は鈴木武蔵所属のベールスホットで指揮

シント=トロイデンは20日、ピーター・マース監督(56)との契約解除を発表した。

マース監督は、現役時代はGKとしてロンメルやメヘレン、アンデルレヒト、べべレン、スタンダール・リエージュ、ベールスホットでプレー。ベルギー国内でキャリアを終えていた。

引退後は指導者の道を歩み、フェルブローデリンク・ヘールで監督業をスタート。その後は、メヘレン、ロケレン、ヘンク、ロンメルとベルギー国内のクラブで指揮。メヘレンでは就任1年目で2部から1部へ昇格、ロケレン時代には2度ベルギーカップを制した他、ヘンクではヨーロッパリーグでチームを準々決勝に導くなどの実績を持つ。
シント=トロイデンは2020-21シーズンに向けてケビン・マスカット監督(47)を招へいしていたが、チームの成績は振るわず残留争いをする展開に。2020年12月にマース監督を招へいしていた。

チームはシーズン終盤まで残留争いをしていたものの、なんとか1部残留を決めていた。マース監督就任後は、リーグ戦で8勝3分け8敗の五分の成績だった。
なお、マース監督は、古巣でもあり日本代表FW鈴木武蔵も所属するベールスホットで指揮を執る意向をクラブに伝え、クラブが了承したとのことだ。

「メンツエグすぎる!」12年前のU-17W杯で世界を沸かせた”94ジャパン”メンバーたちが再会!「スゴい面子」

「娘さんに負けますねこれ」小野伸二の長女のリフティング技術に鈴木武蔵も敗北宣言、ファンも驚き「さすが小野さんの娘さん」

「上手くね?」「箸使えるのすごい」G大阪の助っ人FWジェバリ、巧みな箸使いで寿司を食べる姿にファン驚愕&期待「もう日本人やん!」

香川真司が激白「クロップ監督でもこんなことはなかった」…シント=トロイデンでの厳しい練習に「夜8時に寝てしまう」

シント=トロイデンでの2シーズン目に向けて準備を進めているMF香川真司が、チームのプレシーズンについて言及。思わぬ経験をしていると明かした。ベルギー『Het Belang van Limburg』が伝えた。 2022年1月にPAOKテッサロニキからシント=トロイデンへと加入した香川。シーズン後半戦ではチームに完全にフィットしていない中でも、途中出場で貢献。リーグ最終戦ではアシストも記録していた。 PAOKでは苦しい時期を過ごしていただけに、短いながらも充実した日々を過ごしていた香川は、シント=トロイデンで初のフルシーズンを戦うことに。チームは開幕に向けてキャンプを実施している。 シント=トロイデンはオーストリアにてキャンプ中。自然溢れる中でのトレーニングでは、チームビルディングのためにラフティングを行うなど、昨シーズン以上の成績を残すために準備を進めている状況だ。 これまでドルトムントやマンチェスター・ユナイテッド、ベシクタシュなど欧州での経験も豊富な香川だが、シント=トロイデンでのプレシーズンはどこよりも厳しいものだと明かし、ベルント・ホラーバッハ監督のトレーニングはキツいと口にした。 「こんなに厳しい準備は今まで経験したことがないと僕は誓います。マンチェスター・ユナイテッドで?ドルトムントで?そんなことはないです」 「シント=トロイデンでは1日2回、ほぼ毎日トレーニングしています。毎回充実したトレーニングです。ドルトムントでは、クロップ監督時代でもこんなことはなかったです」 「ホラーバッハ監督は、明らかにクロップ監督ではないです。彼は常に僕たちを走らせ、限界まで追い込んできます」 非常にタフなトレーニングを要求するユルゲン・クロップ監督(リバプール)よりも厳しいトレーニングだと明かした香川。それでも充実はしているようで、本人も新シーズンに向けて、休みを取りすぎないようにしていたと明かした。 プレーオフに進出しなかったシント=トロイデンは早々にシーズンが終了。その結果、およそ2カ月程度のオフができていた。ただ、香川は日本に戻って古巣のセレッソ大阪でトレーニングに参加。コンディションを整えていた。 「古巣のC大阪に、トレーニングが続けられるように頼んでいました。8週間は長すぎると感じていたので、追加で3週間トレーニングをしました」 「結局、僕には家族がいないですし、それは良い決断でした。シーズンの終わりに徐々に良いフォームに戻り、それを持続させたかったです」 その香川は、今夏の移籍の可能性もあったなか、シント=トロイデンでのプレーに集中していたという。 「サッカーでは全てが起こり得ます。でも、僕はシント=トロイデンに集中していました。このクラブで最初からシーズンを経験したいと思っています」 「全ての準備をし、上手くいけばケガなくです。そうすれば、このクラブに多くのものを提供できるでしょう」 「オーナーは僕を連れてくるために大きな努力をしてくれました。ここで何かを証明したいと思います」 その香川だが、カタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)を諦めたつもりはないとのこと。ただ、今はチームの開幕戦に向けて集中し、考えすぎないとした。 「(W杯に行きたい?)もちろんです。でも、W杯のことを考えすぎたくはありません。ホラーバッハ監督が指摘しているように、ここオーストリアではユニオン(・サン=ジロワーズ)との開幕戦についてのみを考えています」 「彼らは昨シーズン、何でも可能であると証明した。シント=トロイデンでプレーオフに行きたいです。もう一度夢を見てもいいですよね?」 厳しいトレーニングも全ては新シーズンのため。長い時間チームと過ごすことで馴染んできた中、トレーニング外ではなかなか交流を図れないとのこと。厳し過ぎてすぐに寝てしまうと明かした。 「信じられないかもしれないですが、この準備がスタートしてから、僕は夜8時に寝てしまいます。でも、朝7時まで起きないんです。疲れてるんでしょう。でも、それはその一部です。まだ生きてますから(笑)」 2022.07.06 10:15 Wed

シント=トロイデンの本拠地にアルデルヴァイレルトが不満「ここでプレーしないといけないのは残念」

ロイヤル・アントワープの元ベルギー代表DFトビー・アルデルヴァイレルトがシント=トロイデンの本拠地に不満を示している。ベルギー『Nieuwsblad』が伝えている。 ベルギー代表通算127キャップを誇るアルデルヴァイレルト。かつてアトレティコ・マドリーやトッテナムでもプレーした34歳は、昨シーズンから母国のアントワープに加入し、いきなりチームを66年ぶりのリーグ優勝へと導いた。 屈強なセンターバックは今季も健在で、公式戦22試合中20試合でスタメン出場し、トッテナム時代以来となるチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)にも参戦。24日には敵地でのリーグ戦第15節・シント=トロイデン戦にフル出場した。 ただ、1-1のドローに終わったこの一戦の終了後、アルデルヴァイレルトはシント=トロイデンの本拠地「大王わさびスタイエンスタジアム」、通称“スタイエン”に対する不満をあらわにした。 「今後の後半戦を見据えるなら、今日のドローもポジティブに考えることはできる。ゴール前でもう少し運があれば勝てただろう」 「けど、このスタジアムでプレーすることは非常に難しい。他のチームが通常の天然芝でプレーするなか、ここの1チーム(シント=トロイデン)だけが人工芝でプレーしている」 「慣れなければいけない、というのはもちろん正論だが、普段からここでプレーしているわけじゃないし、慣れる時間なんてない。個人的には、ここの人工芝でプレーしないといけないのが残念だ」 シント=トロイデンの本拠地“スタイエン”は1927年に開場後、2011年の大幅改修から人工芝を導入。サッカーにおける天然芝or人工芝の議論は、言わば100点の答えがない議論であり、ビジネス視点から見れば、スタジアムを二次利用するなら人工芝の方が適するという考え方もある。 ただ、選手視点だと人工芝はケガのリスクが増すことは明らか。アルデルヴァイレルトにもそういった意識があるはずだ。 2023.11.25 17:55 Sat

鈴木優磨ら日本人5選手所属のシント=トロイデン、マインツからベルギー人DFをレンタルで獲得

シント=トロイデンは18日、マインツからベルギー人DFディミトリ・ラヴァレー(24)をレンタルで獲得したことを発表した。契約期間については明かされていないものの、ドイツ『キッカー』によれば、今季終了までの模様だ。 スタンダール・リエージュの下部組織で育ったラヴァリーは2018年7月からマーストリヒト(ベルギー2部)に1年間のレンタル。2019-20シーズンにスタンダール・リエージュ復帰を果たしたが、安定した出場機会を得られず、今季から完全移籍でマインツに加わった。 しかし、マインツでもトップチームでの出場がなく、わずか半年でのベルギー復帰となった。 シント=トロイデンはジュピラー・プロ・リーグ21試合を消化した現時点で15位。立石敬之氏が最高経営責任者(CEO)を務める同クラブには、GKシュミット・ダニエル、DF松原后、FW鈴木優磨、FW中村敬斗、FW伊藤達也の日本人5選手が所属している。 2021.01.19 10:57 Tue

香川真司がベルギー到着! 私服姿でサポーターへメッセージ「早く会いたいです」

欧州の登竜門シント=トロイデン、イメージガールの撮影会が決定!公式半被衣装のほかニットワンピや水着撮影も
