ウェストハムは6日、ワトフォードからレンタル加入中のイングランド人DFクレイグ・ドーソン(30)を今シーズン終了後に完全移籍で獲得することを発表した。ドーソンはウェストハムと2023年6月30日までの契約にサインしている。
189cmの恵まれた体躯を誇る屈強なセンターバックのドーソンは、WBAとワトフォードでプレミアリーグ180試合以上に出場してきた経験豊富なプレーヤー。
ワトフォードのチャンピオンシップ(イングランド2部)に降格の影響もあり、昨年10月の国外の移籍市場閉幕後に、1年間のレンタル移籍でウェストハムに加入した。
シーズン途中での加入ということもあり、昨年末までは控えに甘んじていたが、プレミアリーグ第16節のサウサンプトン戦でハマーズデビューを飾ると、以降15試合連続で先発フル出場。3バックと4バックを併用する4位チームの最終ラインに安定感をもたらし、得意のセットプレーから3ゴールを挙げている。

猫を蹴飛ばし、平手打ち…虐待動画流出のズマが謝罪 「あのような行為は二度と起こらない」

プレミアがギャンブル系胸スポンサー禁止で合意、2025-26シーズンが期限…中堅以下の8クラブはどうする?
