ポーランドサッカー協会(PZPN)は29日、FWロベルト・レヴァンドフスキがイングランド代表戦に出場しないことを発表した。

レヴァンドフスキは28日に行われたカタール・ワールドカップ(W杯)欧州予選グループI第2節のアンドラ戦で負傷。チームを勝利に導く2ゴールの活躍を残したものの、63分に右ヒザを痛めて負傷交代していた。

PZPNによると、同選手は側副じん帯を損傷。最長10日間の離脱となるようで、幸いにも大ケガは回避することができた。

しかし、これにより31日に予定されている第3節のイングランド代表戦の欠場が決定。グループIの最大のライバルなだけに、エースの不在は大きな痛手となる。

なお、所属先のバイエルンでは来月3日に行われるブンデスリーガ第27節でライプツィヒと対戦する。首位と2位の天王山に間に合うことはできるだろうか。

2022年プスカシュ賞は衝撃バイシクル弾!アンプティサッカー界から史上初受賞
