元ドイツ代表のミヒャエル・バラック氏(43)が、数週間前に緊急手術を受けていたことが明らかになった。ドイツ『ビルト』が伝えている。
『ビルト』が伝えるところによれば、バラック氏は先日に健康診断を受けた際、MRI検査で脊髄近くに腫瘍があることが判明したという。
これを受け、5週間前にハノーファーの病院で腫瘍の摘出手術を受けた。早期発見ということもあり、手術は無事に成功し、摘出された腫瘍に関しても良性だったことが確認されているという。
現役時代にカイザースラウテルンやレバークーゼン、バイエルン、チェルシーといったクラブで活躍したバラック氏は、ドイツ代表としても98試合42ゴールの数字を残したフットボール界のレジェンドだ。
なお、バラック氏は現在、家族と共にポルトガルで静養中だという。

バラックやクローゼらが所属したドイツの名門・カイザースラウテルンが破産申請
ドイツの名門クラブが、破産に追い込まれることとなってしまったようだ。 ドイツ『SWR SPORT』によると、現在は3部に所属するカイザースラウテルンが破産を申請しているとのこと。地方裁判所に破産申請を行なったとのことだ。 報道によると、新型コロナウイルス(COVID-19)の感染拡大によりクラブの収入が大幅に減少。また、無観客での試合開催も追い打ちをかけ、現在2400万ユーロ(約29億円)にまで負債が膨れ上がっているとのことだ。 この影響は来シーズンにもあり、当初の1100万ユーロ(約13億2500万円)から1500万ユーロ(約18億円)にまで増加する可能性があるという。 直近では、今回の財政危機を乗り越えるためにコストカットなどの話し合いが続けられてきたが、結論は出ていないとのこと。また、新たな投資家が現れておらず、破産することに決めたという。 なお、今回の破産申請は、自己管理による手続きとなるようで、クラブの取締役がサポートを受けながら再建を目指す「計画倒産」とのこと。クラブは3部にとどまり、消滅することはないようだ。 ドイツサッカー連盟(DFB)は、本来であれば9ポイントの勝ち点剥奪となるものの、新型コロナウイルスによる危機のため取りやめに。しかし、6月30日以降に倒産した場合は剥奪される可能性もあるため、早めに手続きを行ったとのことだ。 カイザースラウテルンはブンデスリーガで2度の優勝経験がある名門クラブ。近年は下部リーグに所属しているものの、長年にわたってブンデスリーガに所属していた。 過去には元ドイツ代表MFミヒャエル・バラックやFWミロスラフ・クローゼ、DFアンドレアス・ブレーメなども所属していた。 今シーズンはドイツ3部に所属しており、32試合を終えて12位に位置している。 2020.06.15 16:05 Mon

18歳の若さでこの世を去ったバラック氏の次男に、パートナーが哀悼のメッセージ
