サポーターによるスポルティング選手襲撃事件で判決! 襲撃指示疑惑の元会長は無罪に

2018年に起きたスポルティング・リスボンの過激派サポーターグループによる選手襲撃事件の判決が言い渡された。『ロイター通信』が伝えている。

ポルトガルのフットボール界に衝撃を与えた事件は2018年5月に起こった。

スポルティングは当時、2017-18シーズンのプリメイラ・リーグをチャンピオンズリーグ出場圏外の3位で終えることが決定したばかりだった。

すると、選手たちの不甲斐ない戦いぶりに激怒した過激派サポーターグループは、タッサ・デ・ポルトガル決勝に向けてアルコシェテの練習場でトレーニングを行っていた選手、スタッフを襲撃。

約50人と報じられた同サポーターグループは、フェイスマスクなどで顔を隠した状態で練習場に居た選手やスタッフに対して、素手や道具を使って暴力行為に及んだ。さらに、ロッカールームなどで施設内の設備への破壊行為も行った。

そして、当時の主力だった元オランダ代表FWバス・ドスト(現フランクフルト)が前頭部に裂傷を負うなど、一部選手やスタッフにケガ人も出ていた。

その後、クラブの全面協力の下、地元警察による捜査が進んだ結果、最終的に43人が逮捕された。さらに、当時会長を務めていたブルーノ・デ・カルバーリョ氏は、確執が噂された選手たちを襲撃するように同サポーターグループへ指示を出していた疑いで同じく訴追されていた。

その痛ましい事件から2年が経過した28日、ポルトガルの裁判所は襲撃を実行した主犯格9人に懲役5年の実刑判決、さらに29人に禁固刑、3人に罰金刑を科した。

その一方で、ブルーノ・デ・カルバーリョ元会長には無罪判決となっている。

守田英正が4試合ぶりに復帰か? 日本代表で離脱後は3試合欠場…第2子誕生とも報道
