元ブラジル代表MFのドゥンガ氏が新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大を受け、食料を寄付した。

世界的流行が続く新型コロナウイルス。各国が様々な対応を続けているが、終息が見通せず、あらゆる方面で大打撃を受けている。ブラジルも例外でなく、3日に感染者が9000人を上回り、死者も350人以上に。国内のフットボール界も延期に追い込まれている。

そうした苦境が続くなか、現役時代にセレソンの主将を務め、監督も歴任した“闘将”ドゥンガ氏が支援に動いた。スペイン『マルカ』によると、ドゥンガ氏は母国をもむしばむパンデミックを受け、約10トンの食料と2000枚のおむつを寄付したという。
そのドゥンガ氏は自身のインスタグラムを通じた動画で「想像外の出来事が起きている」と語ると、「今、我々は助け合い、より良い人間としての振る舞いが試されている」と続け、「我々は戦い続ける。無駄な時間はない」と強い意思を示した。

勝利を求め続けた“鬼軍曹”ドゥンガ、チームに変革をもたらせたキャプテンシー

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン

ブラジル代表FWリシャルリソンがアニメキャラ4体の“タトゥー”!孫悟空の下にはディズニーの人気キャラ

ロナウドが日韓W杯での“大五郎カット”を謝罪、奇抜な髪型の裏事情とは?
