チェルシー、リールDFの獲得に近づく…交渉は” ほぼ完了”か

チェルシーが、リールに所属するブラジル人DFガブリエウ(22)の獲得に迫っているようだ。イギリス『フットボール・ロンドン』が伝えた。

母国のアヴァイでプロキャリアをスタートしたガブリエウは190cmの左利きセンターバックで、2017年に加入したリールで昨シーズン後半戦からレギュラーに定着。今シーズンはここまで公式戦34試合に出場し、高い身体能力を生かした対人守備で評価を高めている。

アーセナルやマンチェスター・シティも関心を示していたと言われるガブリエウには、移籍専門ジャーナリストのダンカン・キャッスルズ氏によればチェルシーを含む4つのクラブがオファーしていたようだ。そして、『ユーロスポーツ』の記者であるマーヌ・ロンジョン氏がその中でチェルシーが獲得に漕ぎ着けたという情報をキャッチ。いわく“ほぼ完了している”とのこと。

ガブリエウの移籍金に関しては、1月の時点では最高4000万ポンド(約53億円)だったが、MFブバカリ・スマレの売却に失敗したことで資金繰りが難しくなり、リールは移籍金を下げてでもガブリエウを売却する必要に迫られているようだ。キャッスルズ氏の見立てでは3100万ポンド(約41億3000万円)程度の取引となる模様。

なお、ガブリエウは2月にアーセナルからの関心説が浮上した際にフランス『テレフット』で「そのことについては分からない。だけど、プレミアリーグでプレーしてみたいね」とイングランド移籍に前向きなコメントを残している。
