ジェノアに新たに就任したチアゴ・モッタ監督が、初陣となるブレシア戦に向けたコメントを残している。イタリア『メディアセット』が伝えている。

ジェノアは22日、成績不振で解任したアウレリオ・アンドレアッツォーリ監督の後任として、昨シーズンまでパリ・サンジェルマンのU-19チームを指揮していたチアゴ・モッタ氏に白羽の矢を立てた。

その初戦となる26日のセリアA第9節ブレシア戦に向けて、ジェノアの監督として初めてプレスカンファレンスに出席。力強いコメントを残した。

「素晴らしい感覚だ。選手たちは全力で練習に励んでいる。みんな試合に飢えていたよ」

「明日は必ず素晴らしい試合になる。両チームにとって難しい試合になることも間違いない。序盤でチームの姿を見せることが重要だ」
