フライブルク、バイエルンからU-20韓国代表FWチョン・ウヨンを獲得!

フライブルクは19日、バイエルンからU-20韓国代表FWチョン・ウヨン(19)を完全移籍で獲得したことを発表した。背番号は「29」に決定。契約期間や移籍金に関する詳細は非公表となっている。

2017年に韓国の仁川ユナイテッドFCからバイエルンのユースに加入したチョン・ウヨンは、左右のウイングを主戦場とする右利きのアタッカー。バイエルンのリザーブチームでの活躍をキッカケに、昨年11月に行われたチャンピオンズリーグ(CL)グループステージのベンフィカ戦でトップチームデビュー。

また、スピードとテクニックに優れる“ソン・フンミン2世”は、今年3月に行われたボルシアMG戦でブンデスリーガデビューも飾っていた。

フライブルクでマネージャーを務めるヨヘン・ザイアー氏は、チョン・ウヨンに大きな期待を抱いている。

「ウヨンは韓国で最も才能のある若手の1人だ。彼のプレーを楽しむ姿勢、状況やスペースに対する良い感覚はその若さを考えれば特筆すべきものだ。我々は彼と一緒になって1人前のブンデスリーガに育て上げたいと思っている。そのための時間を与える準備もできている」

一方、フライブルク加入が決定したチョン・ウヨンは新天地での意気込みを語っている。

「新たな挑戦をとても楽しみにしているよ。同時にこの移籍を認めてくれたバイエルンに感謝したい。フライブルクは若いプレーヤーが成長していくうえで素晴らしい場所だと思っているよ。個人的にはクラブが素晴らしいシーズンを送る助けになりたいと思っているよ」

地球380周分の発電が可能に? 来季から使用予定のフライブルクの新スタジアム、屋上にはソーラーパネル完備で環境に配慮
