ライバルに敗れるも...ヴァーグナー「バイエルンが圧倒的ベストチームだ」

バイエルンのFWサンドロ・ワグナーは、不調に陥るチーム状況の中でも「絶対に優勝する」と意欲を語った。

ブンデスリーガ6連覇中の強豪バイエルンだが、今季は第11節終了時点で首位ドルトムントと7ポイント差の5位に沈んでいる。11日のドルトムント戦に2-3で敗れ、チーム状態が良好とは言えない状況だ。しかし、そんな中でもワグナーは圧倒的戦力を誇るバイエルンは優勝が至上命題だと語った。

「順位表を見た時は気が狂ったかと思ったよ。僕らが5位だ。バイエルンに期待されるような順位じゃない。僕たちは今年も王者にならないといけないんだ。優勝以外は失望しかない。ドイツで僕たちは圧倒的ベストチームだからね」

「もちろん、ドルトムントはここ数試合いいゲームをしてきた。しかし、僕たちのほうがいいチームだ。だから、選手全員がチャンピオンになるという信念を持たないといけない。これがチーム再構築の時期だとか言うのは的外れだ。絶対に優勝する」

ワグナーはリーグ戦で4試合に出場していまだ無得点。自身のゴールでチームを救うことができるのだろうか。バイエルンは次節24日、17位・デュッセルドルフと対戦する。
