▽アルゼンチンサッカー協会(AFA)は9日、メキシコ代表戦に臨む代表メンバーに新たに2選手を追加招集したことを発表した。

▽今回追加されたのはトッテナムGKパウロ・ガッサニーガと、アルゼンチンのベレスに所属するMFガストン・ヒメネス。ともに代表初招集となる。

▽ガッサニーガは昨夏にサウサンプトンからトッテナムに加入した26歳。クラブではフランス代表GKウーゴ・ロリスと、元オランダ代表GKミシェル・フォルムに次ぐ第3GKという位置付けだが、両者が負傷したプレミアリーグ第6節と第7節ではゴールマウスを守り勝利に貢献。EFLカップでは2試合に出場している。

▽ガストン・ヒメネスは今夏エストゥディアンテから移籍した27歳のMF。左利きでセントラルMFを主戦場としている。今季はここまで10試合に出場している。

▽なお、アルゼンチンは16日にアウェイで、20日ホームでメキシコとダブルヘッダーの親善試合を行う。

メッシと妻は30年来の仲、幼馴染の2人が結ばれW杯で優勝するまで

54歳バティストゥータ氏がチャリティーマッチでゴール!4年前には左足首を人工関節に置換

21世紀の出場試合数ランキング発表! 首位は1145試合のC・ロナウド、トップ10に日本人選手がランクイン
