▽ワトフォードは20日、オーストリア代表DFセバスティアン・プリョードル(30)と2021年6月30日までの新契約を締結したことを発表した。

▽母国の名門シュトゥルム・グラーツでプロキャリアをスタートしたプリョードルは、2008年から2015年まで在籍したブレーメンで台頭。その後、2015年にワトフォードに加入すると、屈強なフィジカルを生かした対人守備を武器に最終ラインの主軸として活躍。ここまで公式戦61試合に出場し、3ゴールを挙げる活躍を披露。昨シーズンはクラブの年間最優秀選手にも選出されていた。

▽また、オーストリア代表では通算51試合に出場している。
