▽U-17ワールドカップ(W杯)2015が17日、チリで開幕した。

▽24カ国7グループに分かれて行われる同大会は、各組上位2チームと3位の成績上位4チームの計16チームが決勝トーナメントに進出するレギュレーション。日本は5大会ぶりに予選敗退に終わり、今大会には出場していない。

▽開幕日の17日はA組とB組の4試合が行われ、B組で韓国がブラジルを1-0で下す波乱が起こっている。バルセロナのカンテラに所属する“韓国のメッシ”ことイ・スンウ擁する韓国は、“優勝候補”ブラジル相手に主導権を握っていく。そしてゴールレスで迎えた79分、右サイドを崩した流れからボックス中央のチャン・ジェウォンが左足で放ったシュートがゴール右に決まり、韓国がついに均衡を破った。その後、退場者を出したブラジル相手に追加点こそ奪えなかった韓国だったが、相手の枠内シュートを1本に抑えて1-0で勝利し、白星発進とした。

▽グループBではアーセナルやトッテナム、チェルシーらの選手で構成されたイングランドがPK失敗などもあり、ギニアに1-1で引き分けている。

▽そのほか、A組では開催国チリがクロアチアとの開幕戦を1-1で引き分け、ナイジェリアがアメリカを2-0で下している。

女子選手の意見を参考に配慮し白パンツを中止、ナイキが女子W杯出場13カ国の新ユニフォームを発表!
