▽オーストラリアサッカー協会(FFA)は10日、パース・グローリーがヒュンダイ・Aリーグ(Aリーグ)の選手契約規則に違反したとして、2015Aリーグファイナルシリーズ(優勝決定プレーオフ)の出場権を剥奪することを決定したと公式サイトで発表した。
▽FFAによると、パース・グローリーは選手契約規則に記載されている給料の上限に違反。少なくとも6選手に対しての給与超過支払いを隠ぺいしており、2014-15シーズンは定められている上限の255万豪ドル(約2億3600万円)を40万豪ドル(約3700万円)超過していたとのこと。さらに、2012-13シーズン、2013-14シーズンの給与支払いに関しても、隠ぺいしていたとのことだ。
▽パース・グローリーは合計で26万9000豪ドル(約2500万円)の罰金が科されることになる。内訳は、2012-13シーズンに対して2万6000豪ドル、2013-14シーズンに対して4万3000豪ドル、2014-15シーズンに対して20万豪ドル。
▽加えて、今シーズンのAリーグファイナルシリーズ出場資格を剥奪された。なお、パース・グローリーは7日以内に不服申立てを行うことができる。

10日、AFC U17女子アジアカップ2024の第2節がインドネシアで行われ、U-17日本女子代表はU-17オーストラリア女子代表と対戦し、1-4で勝利した。
上位3カ国はドミニカ共和国で今年行われU17女子ワールドカップの出場権を獲得できる今大会。初戦のタイ戦で4-0と勝利していた日本は、8名を変更して臨んだ。
