チェルシーのベルギー代表MFエデン・アザールは、22日に行われるチャンピオンズリーグ準決勝1stレグ、アトレティコ・マドリー戦に間に合わないかもしれない。

アザールは今月8日、パリ・サンジェルマンとの試合でふくらはぎを痛めて離脱した。2週間ほどの離脱になると伝えられたが、22日の試合は難しいようだ。

18日、アシスタントコーチのスティーブ・ホランド氏が次のようにコメントした。イギリス『ミラー』などが伝えている。

「アザールは火曜日の試合に確実に間に合わないわけではない。しかし、まだチーム練習に合流しておらず、大きな疑いがあるのは確かだ」

プレミアリーグのタイトルレースについても話した。

「1位から3位までのどのチームも可能性がある。接戦だね。このクラブは、シーズンのこの時期に多くの試合をこなすことに慣れている。本当にチャレンジの時期だ。フィジカル面だけでなく、感情の面でもそうだね。どんな大会でも、経験は不可欠だと思う」

「我々には良いブレンドがある。タイトルがリバプールとの試合で決まるとは思っていない。明日はプロフェッショナルな姿勢を見せなければいけないとても難しい試合だ」

チェルシーは19日、ホームでサンダーランドと対戦する。
